I enjoy the direction this game is going

yes but my "mula" is going to the game style I personally enjoy and funding that rather than funding this game which if by chance others choose to follow suite will slowely decrease the development budget of this game to the point there will be delays cut corners and an overall quality drop. Will that happen no idea but I know I have made my choice and encourage others to do the same. This isnt the only MMO out there and there is far more choices for entertainment. If even 20% of the player base quits and they dumb down end game because NOONE is doing it so that now the new top 20% are ending up in the same boat and quit and that continues then what? going to keep telling them to quit and move on ? Its going to be an amusing boat to watch hopefully it doesnt end up like SWTOR or Aion or Rift or Tera or... well see the list of any released MMO in the last 5 years.

And people say hardcores are complaining about the game because they care about the game and want it to develop and prosper. Guess what? Posts like these show that they only care about themselves, not about the game or the company, stooping so low as to hope the company goes under so that their own wants are met. Holding a game you claim to support at gunpoint is not supporting it. SE should not give in to these players as if they cater to their whims, what is going to happen next time? More demands..and more and more. When these demands are not able to be met, they will leave the game without the blink of an eye.

These are the players who have a negative impact on the community and its creating a bad vibe for the game and for me personally I am glad they are gone. Good riddiance! You won't be missed!

LOL If you read my posts I am far from hardcore and I would thank you not to label me as such. I have not fought twintania and I have no intention to I dont sit there endlessly grinding chocobo levels or looking at other plyers gear thinking I have to get that. I am quite casual in my gameplay... I play a game to have fun, however I find no fun in having a game spoon fed to me or my pace of a game determined by others or having others pace determined by me.... I ask you this what exactly is your definition of hardcore ?

To me Hardcore is someone who seeks advancement and follows through with it. Casual is someone who plays the game to simply be entertained we dont care about what others think and we dont look at others gear and go I should be able to get that if I cant imma rage. Then you have those who want to be hardcore but cant for some reason (real life, lack of skill, dial up internet whatever) but want what a hardcore person has so they demand that the platform be lowered so they can get onto it. Thats not casual thats wanting to be hardcore being envious that you cant then whining, demanding the hardcore people get down off the platform and join them, then when it doesnt happen they all come sit and claim to be casual and say that the entirety of the casual player base feels like they do when really us who are truely casual rarely interact with the hardcore because simply put WE DONT CARE WE JUST WANT TO PLAY AND HAVE FUN and we want no interaction with the want to be hardcore people. THATS toxic. You can Tote me as hardcore all you like I took an EXTREMELY casual aproach to this game (this character wasnt even doing coil until like 2 weeks before CT came out) I played and had fun as much as I could but even with a relaxed aproach I finished the content I enjoyed. I dont ask that the game be catered to my whims I ask that ALL players see their needs met both casual hardcore and those in between its your camp that demand everything be catered to them and ONLY them. Its to hard ? Nerf it it takes time ? NERF IT. It takes effort ? NERF IT. thats all I hear on these forums if you really were casual you woudnt care about what others do or get you would log in have your bit of fun and log out, maybe come to the forums to offer some opinions here and there for improvement to your way of playing NOT to voice how others way of playing is somehow ruining your life. Progression of your character is secondary.

The funny thing is that you seem to be placing me together with the casual camp. This is ironic since you assumed that I misjudged you as hardcore when you are doing the exact same thing. If you read all my other posts, you will realize I am casual in the number of hours played but I am "hardcore" in what I want to achieve from the game.
And please stop with all the "Casuals are just sour grapes that want to be hardcore but can't". That is just total BS. You are basically saying that everyone that can't clear extreme primals and t5 wants it to be nerfed. This is a direct insult to me as if you read the post above, I chose to join an FC that was starting on T5 instead of one that had T5 on farm. You know because not all of us filthy casuals just want shinies to be handed out to us. Since I joined the forums, I have not seen more than 3 posts that ask for content to be nerfed and now when you see the front page, 3/4 of it is filled with rage induced posters who can't seem to leave their ffXI or ffxiv 1.0 shell, cluttering the entire forums with basically the same thing.

And finally, regardless of whether you are hardcore or casual, having players hold a company hostage is never a good thing from a business standpoint. And if a game has to base their decisions solely based on their customers, then they are not going to be focused and will collapse eventually when they leave. So yes, the door is that way. Please show yourself out and be careful not to bang your head on the wall.

I dont think all casuals are sour grapes and while I can agree somewhat with your opinion on hardcore vs casual I have to disagree with some aspects of it the major one being time investment so while I respect your opinion I am sorry to disagree to it I wont try to change your opinion however I suggest you reread my post and understand I am not labeling ALL casuals as sour grapes wanting everything handed to them like I said many times I consider myself heavily casual and to me I would consider you fairly hardcore. I am not asking for the game to be beefed up to unimaginable difficulty nor am I asking it to be watered down to a mear 0.002% apple juice per litre. I am asking for content FOR ALL PARTIES to be observed in equal fasion instead of what everyone cries about on the forums saying the other people are wrong. This includes hardcore content (crystal tower HM and EX anyone ?) casual content (mission scenarios more minions and mounts to play with maybe some vanity items to get) and medium content (HM primals crystal tower HM) to deny one group saying well they are only 10% of the population they shouldnt get anything is an insult to everyone. I consider the sour grapes anyone in ANY group who wants the game catered to them and only them that includes hardcores who want Ninja Gaiden on NES difficulty casuals who want to push the log in button and get everything and the medium players who hate anything they cant do...

As for players crying for nerfs do a search for titan and see how many threads come up.
