    I dont really see the difference, open world, instance, if it doesnt give the best loot or people have already gotten their loot, people will not do them regardless if it's open world or instance. What they need to add is something that takes long time to get like the relic in 1.23. The hoops they made you go through just to get that one relic was insane but it kept that 40k people playing it. lol

    I think my post (#51) explains horrific drop rates and the reason behind them. Also fixed your post. By asking for open world, you are in turn basically asking for horrific drop rates. Either that or nice long spawn times which is essentially a different style of lockout.

    And this little gem right here is one of the dumbest things I have ever had the misfortune of reading on these forums―which is saying a lot.

    So by asking SE to make more use of the open world they've created and to give us more activities to participate in outside of incredibly linear and scripted instances, what we're really asking for is to camp mobs with horrendous drop rates for hours on end...?

    Please explain to me how one has anything to do with the other?

    I want to add that those 500k are actually players, which log in every single day. That does not include "monday gamers", or people which log in here and there but still have active subs.

    In the context of this thread which is referring to open world for epic gear which could be considered end game gear, it has everything to do with each other. It's called time gating. If you are unable to comprehend why they would time gate epic gear, then I have nothing else to say. No one likes it, but it is standard practice. To think otherwise would be the dumbest thing I would have ever heard on these forums.

    We just want SE to do something useful with the world they've created. If you and people alike are so afraid of it, feel free to stay in your inn room and pop your Duty finder 0/24 if you want, I do not have problem with it.

    And before telling me "Well, you have FATEs, they are open world content!", yeah, sure bro. Their only use at the moment is to level alt characters, but even that is not cost effective since the nerf. Three dungeon mobs or one levequest award more experience than single FATE, and levequests even take less time to complete. In other words, FATEs are obsolete.

    Open World = 3k+ people on same server = MMO.

    That is kind of important to me.
