Pretty sad for it because it would drop the new iOver90 tomes? Or did I hear wrong? I'm really quite sad to hear that it's ilvl req is 55..

Expected the ilvl requirement to be 60, but still, the requirement is almost always under the realistic requirement. But on the other hand, AK was the main source of myth tomes back in the day, and you could clear it in WP gear (i55) no problem. Can see the realistic gear requirements being around i70 for this.
I'm glad they didn't make it iLv 75 or something alike. This game needs more possibilities for horizontal progression!
PS is 49. Take that for what you will.
Like before, that's just the minimum required to enter. It does not mean the average player can beat it at that ilevel.http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodest...d756a7a4278daf

You can be sure that the average player will need to be at least i70 to have a chance of beating it...
With Pharos Sirius requiring i49, and with how much people struggle with that dungeon, don't expect it to be easy tomes just because the ilevel requirement is low.
I'm all for the new dungeon content to be accessible to a larger scope of players but when someone que's up for the dungeon barely meeting the minimum ilvl requirement hoping to be carried, it really hurts the group as a whole.
I think the ilvl should be atleast 75. like others have said.
yea but its fine..
Its not really old stuff, the Quest "The Ultimate Weapon" is the final story quest pre 2.1, so its not like they will have much, Af1 with random leveling accessories, maybe 1 piece of Darklight.
That kind of player will really be holding back their group in LCoA.
What i was thinking is that it would drop (possibly) i100 items, meaning some will be skipped..
I'm a big believer that ilvl is a very weak indicator of someones abilities. I've seen people with i85+ that still suck at their jobs. I've seen people with i60 that are great at their jobs. For example I did some titan/garuda ex runs tonight with my healer which is only i75 and I was just as good if not better then the healer that was at least i80+. Rather then worry about someones ilvl you should really be focused more on their actual abilities. If the minimum ilvl requirement is 55 then it's likely a character with an ilvl.55 will be able to be helpful if they know their role well. People are too damn used to vastly overgearing/leveling content that the idea of someone who is the appropriate level for the content taking part that they start to panic :/
