I was going to ask just this. Comparing the two photos, all it looks like it's doing is increasing the contrast. I don't see what's so good about.

Nothing about contrast is changed. I just toyed with bloom, hdr, and simply activated the vignette effect on sweetfx which basically darken the edges of the screen. Lightning is totally, absolutely different, Spells are much more noticeable when you actually use them, and textures are kinda more detailed too, you actually see the colors, which you just dont without the mod, because well it's absolutely bland.

sweetfx can sharpen image, vanilla ARR looks way too blurry. Look at walls in #81 post.
