It doesn't take away, just calculates 25% of the damage you deal and heals you. Source: just went and tested it.This is a really newbie question. But I've just never personally tested this and have grown kind of a unnatural disdain for this ability due to my ignorance/laziness.
Bloodbath, I know it heals for a % of your damage. But based on the tooltip I've always interpreted it as the % it heals is actually TAKEN AWAY from your damage.
For example, lets say you did 100 damage with ability x. When ability x is used while Bloodbath is up, you receive 25hp as heals and the damage you actually do is 100-25 = 75.
Please tell me I am wrong as it seems to be the case haha
Would be better if they updated the tooltip to say Heal or something instead of Convert.

That's true. It was never ambiguous to me, it's just that AugustusSB thought it may have meant something else and I wonder if they're not alone on that.
Also to 'convert' means to change to something else so it's a reasonable thought.
On a side note, I love using Bloodbath when there's AoE to be done and I need some HP. All those lovely numbers.

Marry Me![]()

another week without the allagan choker of striking. Looks like my hero's necklace will be here for a long time![]()
Allagan Trousers Of Maiming alludes me for yet another week. Still don't have any drops from T1. I'm starting to think that Cad hates me for some reason.![]()

Is there a substitute for heroes necklace? Like primal or ultima?
