It is not supposed to play at 20 fps. It is unable to run without issues due to weak hardware.
If a game can't keep a steady 30 fps, it does, in fact, have fps issues.

That is not an issue with ps2 and nothing the PC has/does has anything to do with the ps2. If the ps2 can't do what they want they can change the models... Just like a graphic mod for any other game.
You people need to learn how programs actually work before spitting out BS all over the place. It smells and is rather offensive.
Um... get over yourself?
Graphics are the absolute lowest on my priorities list when I choose a game to play. I don't care if the game runs smoother on PC. I honestly could not care any less. It runs well enough for me. I have absolutely 0 intention of buying a $400 system simply to play one single video game. I have more important things to spend my money one these days.
Plus, people have complained about PS2 support on FFXI for over ten years now AND IT IS STILL SUPPORTED. It's not going to happen, so just deal with it.

Classic.
First off, Whilst there's a lot of "word-of-mouth" claims of PS3 winning the fight, there's not a single PS3 PoV video depicting so, and these claims could very well just be PS3 white knight fan boys like you. Even that being said, it's not 100% impossible for a PS3 to beat twintania, since if the other 7 players in your party are competent enough, they can essentially carry you through it (I've already seen FC's selling TT wins/Drops on my server). Either way, I direct you to my last post, in which I said, beat it on PS3 (without dying/ being dead weight) and record it. It's as simple as that.
Second, while your gear is nothing to brag about, the point I was trying to make there was that you have one piece of gear from turn 4, which means, you have seen Twintania and clearly you can get up to him at the very least. That's why I made that proposal in the last post about you recording a PS3 kill.
And Mortucus if you have an issue with consoles, you probably should have found an MMO that was PC only. Not trying to sound rude, just i don't think SE will drop support for consoles ever. There are tons of MMO's for PC only players. The search shouldn't be too difficult.
i didnt say drop support i said give them their own servers like duco aka pc players on one server console players on another server
they both have different department's to develop them already just move them into separate server groups
this way pc players cant give out crap and console players get left alone buy the pc player no more blaming them for their troubles
i also stated the age of the tec its old buy any standards ps3 is just oldddddddddddd
if u love console which i used to until they dragged every penny they could out of the last gen then buy the ps4 and come up to date but dont bog down the rest of us with your tec from the early 2000s (never asked or promoted dumping support for ps3)
Jeez this post is so dumb ewww i think the PS3 ver is ugly i hate it so get rid of it waaaaa i wan't my wayyyyy frame rate issues? iv never had them the PC ver looks better sure and can run the game faster yes but the PS3 ver still looks very good and it's not like the PC ver is beating it out that bad. Only on the loading times but yea at some point i will get it on PS4 but not everyone has that sort of cash![]()
One day S.E will drop support for the PS3..
That day will be glorious. Until that day rationalize all you want, for the PS3 is inevitably hamstringing FF 14's future.
