Making Coil T1-5 easier sure, removing weekly lockout, lol wut?

I could care less about sense of achievement. What bothers me about this change is it makes 2.1 content obsolete. FFXIV will never be a game rich with lots of content if every patch makes the previous one useless. Nobody will be going CT or primals once 2.2 comes out. It will be either do Coil or nothing. While I am excited for new raids, I fear I will be bored really quick. Then 2.3 will come out and make 2.2 useless. I want them to add content, not replace exsisting content.

2.1 content will be obsolete for whom? T1-T5 farmers? Isn't it already obsolete for them?
New 50's still need to gear up using existing content before they can take on the new.
