O.oChecked with the dev. team regarding questions about archers and their ability to auto-attack. Auto-attack as a system will initiate when the player is fighting an enemy in close range. While archers will be able to auto-attack enemies while in close range it won't be with arrows. New animations will be implemented to make this all happen!
And now...Things get interesting. Because that means Archer is gonna need another weapon of some sort.

They don't necessarily need to give archer a new weapon for close range, maybe they can use the bow as a melee weapon like a bayonet, or simply kick the mob lol.
If ARC doesn't get proper auto attack it's going to piss off a lot of people including me. Us ARCs are sick of hitting 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 2 3 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 2 1 1 1 when battling too. So what will we be getting, auto attack stone throw? I hope not.![]()

Wow, are they going to fix Archer so I can equip a dagger/axe and a bow at the same time?

Will there be specific attacks to suit both close range and long range then? I wonder...
I loved your big post Biggs!

Archer already has a close range attack. Its called Close Shot and can only be used when you're right next to the mob.
More importantly, if archer doesn't get a long range auto-attack, then we won't get to accumulate TP through AA while using weaponskills like all the other battle classes in that video? That's kind of disappointing. Arrows are already inexpensive, especially if you make them. Many others just opt to use warped arrows. So needless to say I'd rather shoot off an extra arrow while using a skill to get extra TP.
I'll be a bit peeved if this great auto-attack addition ends up not affecting my class in any way meaningful.
Bayohne any possibility you can check if DoM will get auto-attack? In the letter it says "Battle classes only", but from my understanding, CON and THM are battle classes aswell, so could we have an answer as to either they gonna have auto attack aswell or not? ^_^Checked with the dev. team regarding questions about archers and their ability to auto-attack. You say that like it's currently broke. I play ARC because I like ranged attacking. If I want to be hacking at the mob up close with an axe I'll go play Marauder.
We don't want to be up close to a mob to auto attack!

Man... Just wait and see when is released... Why you need to start being negative instead of seeing the possibilities? ... Like many others who have stated the change of it being like RNG?, while not entirely good, but something else positive...
