I agree with op and am taking his side here, I don't feel like he said anything unreasonable to get all this hate
What u can do is group up with a party and agree beforehand that person who deciphers Map gets roll on loot, that way u all help each other and everyone get his maps rare loot ( this was said by someone before me)
However u can definitely open a peisteskin map without a full party, I did that the first time myself with the help of my choco, didn't go too well...
