If you want to keep all the loot, why are you doing peisteskin maps? All the contents get randomly divided, as well as the gil split evenly, and then there's the loot to roll on. If you want everything for yourself, I'd suggest doing anything lower. Besides, the hardest map doesn't mean better loot. I've gotten a single NQ silver ingot out of'em before, while a plain leather map has given me 5 HQ twinthreads and a blue fox hide.

The peistskin maps are meant to be shared amongst other people. If all the loot is to be given to the map holder, then what is the motivation for others to help you complete it? I would recommend the boarskin map if your intention is to keep all the treasure for yourself.

The peistskins are meant for more social people, or those with classes that have difficulty soloing numerous mobs. People in our Free Company often join together with everyone bringing a map or two and all doing the maps together. So even though there is not much loot, by the end of the session we have 50-100 myth each, 20,000+ gil each and lots of random loot to keep or sell on the market place.

Also, you do not really need 8 people to open the peistskin. The game recommends it, but we have done them with 4-5 people before (no chocobos out either). So that is another way you can get more loot per person.

I never said i wanted everything for myself. the random split stuff should be compensation enough for all members that join the Hunt.
As for the actual loot that requires a /roll to earn which only happens a very low % of the time.. should not be /rolled at all.. Instead, it should fall to the one that deciphered the peisteskins map. Not sure why I come off looking like an @$$ here. I guess if you experienced this from my point of view you would see things different. Bottom line. a person who does absolutely nothing but /roll a high number can walk away with your hard earned time spent trying to earn the very item he got for free.
