I have feeling that people that do these maps have no idea that there is a super rare / item that sometimes drops from these maps which have to be /rolled Need / Greed .

Oh we do. We're just saying you should've established that loot rule before opening the map or even form the party. And if you don't trust people to follow it, well, go dig them up yourself or go with friends/FC. We do like 40-50 maps per week and the Bluebird finally shows up.

I run with a group of FC mates every Friday or Saturday with our six to seven maps we collect during the week. We do not care about the loot that drops to us, we roll greed on everything, that is to include the BB. Not that we have seen one, in the 350+ maps we have done together. We mostly do it for the Gil we get, at the end of the night, we have made at least 100K in Gil. I think treasure hunting is great, it's a blast when you get together and run around and kill stuff.

I'm with the OP. I spend the $ to get the map, I should have first dibs.

Give the ability to allocate the treasure based on owner. Allow the holder of the map to see the loot and choose their share before it goes out. Maybe even make everything rolled. Just did a map with a friend and a dude from his FC. Dude went away with basically all the good stuff and we were left with shards and a bit of gil... Bought that map for 15K and all I get is 100 gil and 100 shards? pssh...

The OP sounds like a greedy idiot. Like everyone else has said if you don't want to share loot then don't do peisteskin maps. Or if you want to do those maps make a group using PF and require everyone to have 1-2 maps. I don't get why your complaining so much. I think your just a troll personally.

Is Coeurl server that bad you can't set up a party finder saying everyone brings a map; your map your loot (for the need/greed stuff) and have people honour it?

If you're concerned about receiving the "good" loot from an 8-person map, then you find other people that will agree to let you have a specific item. Discuss the loot rules/expectations before you even begin digging up the treasure chest. If someone doesn't agree to it, then you can remove them from the group. You can also ask that each person of your party decipher peisteskin map, too. If you do, you increase your chances of getting something, plus the group is helping to bankroll the hunt. If all else fails, run the level 50 solo maps. Then you get to keep everything.

Or do it like that dochebag I met last week, the 1st person I have put on my blacklist that isn't a GIL spammer. I was lurking around in Mor Dhona with a mate of mine and somebody shouted for help with a Peisteskin map. The guy who invited us made the rule that everything is free lot besides minions he wanted for himself. Knowing the chance is ultra low, we accepted and joined.

We were a group of six players and as soon as the last mob was killed, both of us were kicked from the party. Nicely played. I am so glad that I can do 99% of the stuff I wanna do with my FC. Outside of it there are more betrayers and ego players than anything else.

Lol, only need 3 people for Peisteskin maps.. Make sure the other 2 players bring their own Peisteskins and set the rule as your map, your loot.

Only need 2-3 people to actually kill the monsters, but the more people, the more gil you get since each chest gives the same amount to each member in the party (lowest I've seen is ~1600) so the more people you have and more maps you do, the more striaght gil drops you get, including the other items that you don't need to lot on.

Dang OP what kind of Pizza Party you got man? It's my damn party, I get the first damn slice YO!

It's just matter of getting a group that can allow your map/your loot and should be fine, haven't had this problem and I feel you can clear this with 3 players + 3 chocobos without any problem.
