We dont pay $15 dolars per sub right? Oh wait we must pay $5, $9 or $20.

1.5 Millons that was an "official Number of Square Enix".

You are making assumptions."You dont know if they are losing or winning subs per month". So i taked an official cipher for make My numbers.

Now... even with the half of subs this game still generating millions in profits.

I respect your opinion. But if you dont will elaborate a Solid and accurate response dont makeme waste my time.

I feel as though I shouldn't have had to elaborate on the difference between subs and purchases any further, but obviously I was mistaken.

I'm not commenting at all on the rate they may or may not be losing subs. All I'm saying is that it is a very safe to say that less than 100% of the player base retained a sub after purchase. I had 40-50 people in my FC alone never return. So I know without a doubt that it is a factual statement to say the game has lost some subs after purchase. So you can spout the 1.5 million number all day, but that is in no way shape or form an accurate representation of the current state of subscriptions. That number referred to game purchases, and not subs at all. On that fact alone I can guarantee you that your numbers are wrong and it overestimates the income for this game. I'm not arguing the sub price or anything other than that. My statement was not made with a single assumption whereas yours is based off an assumption. Specifically that every purchase was retained as a sub. Which is clearly not the truth. That's not opinion. It's fact. Also, I wasn't refuting whether or not this game was making profits or not. You're putting words in my mouth where they didn't belong.

Ask yourself this. Companies are very quick to release big numbers showing healthy activity and sales but never tell you when things start heading in the other direction. Not one of the MMOs I have ever played showed the people the exact amount of current subscriptions, never ever, not even once. Why is that? It's always vague numbers, vague large numbers.

    That is kind of false.

Companies do tell people when numbers are dropping.

Not verbally, by via server closings/mergers.
