So you are making up fictional situations to back up your opinion. Got it. Either way, I'm sure the GMs are aware of this issue. I don't get the outrage that some people have over it.
They definitely need to deliver some justice on this, when so few people are griefing so many SE needs to step up and deal out warnings leading up to bans for repeat offenders.
I like watching them try to defend thier actions, its like in those games with open world pvp where theyi decimate the population completely then say its not thier fault its the games. People have no personal resoposibility anymore its time someone takes it out of thier hands completely. People like that don't deserve a choice, they deserve bans.
how are they greifing you? they are just looking for a dungeon that meets the filter options and using features in the game? it doesnt effect you in any way. It doesnt increase your wait time you still have to wait for a full party regardless. You just get a little bit of spam pop ups for the full dungeon that you dont even need to click or do anything with. so how are they griefing you?
i havent been abusing the "join in progress" but used to have it always activated to get in faster as DPS , however based on my experience those "in progress" parties tend to last longer to the point of no success sometimes, also its copperbell HM most of time, for my dailies i prefer a fresh AK or WP by far
You said it doesnt matter as long as their money is green, so i gave you a situation where it doesnt matter what color your money is, if you are a hindrance to other people, it is not tolerated. And its called a comparison, you take 1 situation, relate it to another situation to show how ridiculous it is. Someone clicking withdraw over and over holding up the line is the same as someone who either wont let anyone enter or store.. actually a better comparison.. someone at the front of the line who cant decide what to order.. this happens ALL the time.
The person standing in front of a store that needs to be four people wide to do this even effectively to block entrance in and out of a store is not a paying customer. The person withdrawing from a high level duty is a paying customer. One situation is fiction, the other situation is fact. You said it doesnt matter as long as their money is green, so i gave you a situation where it doesnt matter what color your money is, if you are a hindrance to other people, it is not tolerated. Someone who can't decide what to order does not get kicked out because they are almost always put to the side and told to come back to cashier when they are ready to order. That example is not a good comparision. The people withdrawing are using the features as they are in the game. They are not holding anyone up from playing
but it doesnt hold up the line you only "Feel" that it does. As soon as a person wanting to do a full run queues in they will get placed with your group. because of hte down time between the person withdrawing and queueing back up. since you do not have a down time between queue since the game auto requeuesYou said it doesnt matter as long as their money is green, so i gave you a situation where it doesnt matter what color your money is, if you are a hindrance to other people, it is not tolerated. You can't make an "Only In Progress Feature", because if every tank used only that feature no party could ever form to begin with. So you're never going to see that.
SE intended Join In Progress as a means of helping out parties that had lost a member, so that they could progress without needing to start over, not as a shortcut. To a certain extent they'll accept this happening, but there's always a breaking point. If people keep dropping and queuing all over again, SE probably will take measures against it.
you assume that its not intended it very well could be that this is working as it should be. But it may not be as well. but untill SE says hey dont do this no one has the right to say people should be "banned " for it thats absurd. Its currently an accepted practice by SE an in such people shouldnt care. since it doesnt impact them at all in a negative way.You can't make an "Only In Progress Feature", because if every tank used only that feature no party could ever form to begin with. right but thats not doing anything to you...... you dont have to click commence every time that pops.... and if that person wasnt queueing you still would be waiting all that time for someone looking for a full party anyways. So nothing changes except a little bit of spam of the window popping up.
