Maybe, but as someone said it can allow you to stay on a mob longer. faster to leave aoe faster to get back on mob *shrug.

With the lowered cooldown on shoulder tackle there is no reason you should not be able to get back to the mob faster.

Has anyone proven how "fast" Fists of Wind make you? Last time I tired it was barely noticeable.

Fists of wind is junk. Race someone that doesn't have it on... it takes a long time to even see a minor difference in speeds. It is not enough to make you dodge plumes. If you have trouble dodging then first of earth is a better choice.. or you could just not stand in bad stuff.

@kaox_reaper... as far as I know its next to nothing. Seems very similar to wows minor run speed which was something like 7%.

The run speed is pretty noticeable ... but I find a 7-10% ish run speed buff noticeable :P.

Anyone else finding people being completely elitist during Titan EX? I admit I am not the best at Monk, but I do not hold people back completely unless I am burned out after hours of failing. With the methodology that people use for Titan EX everyone has to stack on his back where monks are the weakest. I know the rotations so I do my best to go to his flank afterwards and re-position when Weight of the Land is eminent. So despite the fact that I was in a group that was able to consistently get to post heart phase I was kicked after "2 strikes" for failing to out DPS the warrior. (Note in each fight I was Gaol'd twice forcing me to start my rotation over completely).

Note: I do not have my Relic+1 because I was going for the Primal Weapon so I am already at a disadvantage to those who have their +1 and I dont want to spend 900 tomes if I dont have to.

Elitism is inevitable I am afraid... People only want wins, and if they need to be carried or make others suffer to get there, they will do it.

If you fail to out-DPS the Warrior who's tanking, I'd boot you in a heartbeat. I don't care if you were locked down by every gaol in the entire encounter.

You were getting carried, hard. Unless you were paying them 400k gil for the carry, I don't see your complaint.

See you say I was carried, and yet you do not offer any advice or tips just like the group I was in. That is the elitism that I am talking about. I know how to play my class, but maybe there are things I am missing. So why dont you offer advice then telling me the complaint is justified or that you would boot me in a heartbeat. Titan is not a DPS race except for heart phase and obviously I was not slowing down the group as we cleared it both times.

I know my numbers that roll up on the screen and I know the effects that having to stack rear does to my DPS. I also know I lose 47% of my DPS when I get gaoled while the Warrior (who never gets gaoled) can keep on DPSing at full potential. I also have to be lucky that when he jumps that I am at the perfect spot in my rotation otherwise again I may have to start all over dealing 47% less damage.
