They either need to add a 3 min lock-out after withdrawing 5 times in a row, or they need to just make it so "in progress" only finds groups in need of the missing role.

there is queue already in progress for a reason.... Why ban someone for using the feature?? Say i only have 30min before i have to get off. Typically i can find an already in progress 2/4 with in 5min of queueing which typically takes about 15min to finish from that point. Woot just saved me some time got to fight the bosses that drop the pieces i need and i helped another group out by filling a role they where missing!!! really ban or punish someone for using a filter and helping other parties out?
The "In progress" tick is just there to verify the player doesn't mind to join a mid-run. It's not there so players with less time could get it done. If that was the case we would have a tick of "Join in-progress run ONLY" which to be honest would be the option everyone would use, which would defeat the purpose of DF as a whole - To match players together.
That said, I disagree with the panelty for it. While I never withraw if it's not in-progress, I am aware people abuse it. But there are those who don't. If while queing I do FATE for example, or another activity for that matter, and the DF pops. And I rather withraw from it and finish that activity, I should be able to without any panelty. And for 3 times in a row too. Some people (especially DPS) wait for long on DF and they should have the option to continue their activity if they wish to be it guildleve or other...
I believe a 1 minute lock out would be enough either if your timer runs out or you withdrawn.
1 mn is short enough if you missed to accept because you were afk or stuck in a cutscene or something else.
1 mn is long enough to avoid spamming duty/withdraw.
Those with enough patience would still do it but minutes can add up pretty fast.
But this has become so bad for CT, that there needs to be a penalty if you withdraw too many times. The withdrawing is just a minor nuisance for other dungeons, but for CT, we are talking about 20+ withdraws in 30min timespawn, that is infuriating. You are not entitled to annoy 23 others just because you are lazy. There is a difference between withdrawing because DF popped at bad time and fishing for in-progress. With the latter, you are easily withdrawing 20+ times in a matter of minutes before you find what you want. The penalty should only happen when you queue for CT and only when you have withdrawn over x times. Penalty keeps increasing as you keep withdrawing and the tally resets daily at normal reset time. That said, I disagree with the panelty for it. With drawing does not effect other people.... yes i withdraw and yes you go back in teh queue but you are at the FRONT of the queue so the next tank that queue's up will be thrown if you group. If i withdraw multiple times that just means no other tank has queued and if i didnt queue you would STILL be waiting for another tank... so I am not effecting you in any way other then getting your hopes up when you see the queue pop.But this has become so bad for CT, that there needs to be a penalty if you withdraw too many times. break it down...
23/24 players queue looking for a tank.
I queue looking for 2/4. queue pops i with draw because i am looking for 2/4
23/24 people go back to the front of the queue looking for a tank.
If i dont queue..
23/24 players in queue looking for a tank...
23/24 players in queue STILL looking for a tank.
as you can see the situation of the 23/24 players DOESN't change my actions play no part on your wait time.
Only true for a moment. Too many withdraws and you are pushed back. Or how else are you going to explain the fact that the other two parties completely disappeared from your queue and your wait time becomes long again?
Besides, the people in the queue can level a craft and whatever while waiting, but these self-entitled kiddos make it impossible.

Hi,
It does effect people , because you have a windows popping up, you stop what you are doing, you accept and it stops.
And it doesn't stop. You keep getting the window over and over, you can't do anything else.
At least if you don't queue people could do whatever they wish while waiting.
or they could wait the timer out to see if it goes away. most people that withdraw do it Right away.... they dont wait 10 or 15 seconds to withdraw. So feel free to click the pop up the INSTANT it shows or be smart and let it ride out for 10 or 20 seconds before you click it.Hi,

Really? We're solely blaming the Tanks?
I'm a tank myself (never ran my other classes in Dungeons or Guildheists) and my experience is with DPS repeatedly withdrawing from the queue, its maddening.
I dont think they should be a punishment though, just after 3 withdraws their locked into doing the instance - no "Commence" or "Withdrawn" option just dumped into it.
You have any idea how long it takes to craft high level crafts, for example? It's quite common these ppl wait a while before withdrawing.or they could wait the timer out to see if it goes away. most people that withdraw do it Right away.... they dont wait 10 or 15 seconds to withdraw. In which case they will afk until kicked, if it's not in-progress.
