FATEs are not the thing that results in bad players. Bad players are just bad, one way or another. Like anything, people start off poorly, but can learn if they choose to. Stop looking for something to blame (which is probably just something you, personally, dislike).

He does have some points though. If you fated from 15-50, you have absolutely no idea what abilities are useful in what situation. Tanks that don't know their emnity combo/flash, dps that don't know rotations or who try to pull, healers who haven't even healed much. I agree with you that fates themselves don't produce bad players. Players who fate from 15-50 make bad players.

Welp I fate'd from 5-50 on two jobs and all I get is compliments on how skilled I am, people in my fc asks me for advice. It's up to the individual if they want to learn their class or not. Only my tank, I use fates to practice keeping aggro on multiple mobs and things go smoothly. On my healer I would tell people to eat the red circles to practice healing in "oh schitt" situations.

Anyway OP, like some one else stated just let them die. Idk why DDs think its okay to go balls to the wall on the mob marked "3" lol.

I'm curious, was it the first job you ever leveled that you fated from 5-50 with? And there are always exceptions.

My very first job was a WHM, then SCH/SMN, then Paladin. I'm only good at support classes :<

I did the story quests once I hit 50.
