Then you did not read. Simple as that.
New? So what. They get the basics.
Doesn't matter at all? Let's just pretend that wasn't said.

this is not true,if people cant care enough to calm down and let the aggro build up at lower levels, whats going to change that at higher levels?
off topic: what do commendations do, I usually get 1-3 a hest or run but I do not know what they are

What will change is your gear, your abilities, and hopefully your skill and knowledge of rotations. It is much harder for DPS to pull off of you as you level up. Even a perfectly played tank will lose aggro in low level dungeons, and that is fine, because nobody should be dying and you should be getting done with the dungeon quicker. After Haukke Manor, when you begin Brayflox/Qarn, the problem will solve itself. Before Haukke Manor, people just want to get in and out quickly. The damage DPS takes from mobs is perfectly healable.
Commendations give you vanity rewards.

Agro is your role, keep yourself up to date weapon wise and u should have no issues keeping everything on u.
When I go as a healer on low level dungeons I use to be cleric stance 90% of the time. There is just nothing more to do, and we don't make it to make you r job harder, is just to make things faster and to do...something. Of course, I heal my tanks before they die, but I don't fear to have them go under 40% of his HP. Some healers just stand there...healing, and have tanks at max HP all the time. I don't think that's good, but I undertand that some tanks feel unconfortable being on low HP.
The thing is, if the healer let's you die for being in cleric stance of course he is doing it bad, but... Are you sure that's the case? I've being on some dungeons were a DPS (BLM or Arcanist) started to heal the tank when he was about 50% hp and I was doing DPS. I told him not to worry about it, that I woud heal if needed, but he didn't trust me. At the end I just took out cleric stance and made a boring dungeon. I really think he was overacting, maybe it's the same for you?
I woud not use potions. If your healer let's you die, well, it's mainly his fault.
About the DPS, well, most DPS don't care much about tanks. I want to believe that they just attack a random mob. Sometimes it seems that they choose diferent ones on purpose, cause if it were random, they woud probably choose the same one at least once
And it's something that you'll usually find on duty finder. Sometimes mark them (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) helps, but usually you'll just have to deal with it.
Or do as I use to do when it is too much. (Yep, I have a tank too XD) Apologize about not being able to get the agro, ask them to attack in the order that you mark, and let die the DPS that sistematically ignores it heavily. I usually only do this when it seems that they do it on purpose. I mean, I undertand a mistake, even 30 mistakes, I undertand that you want to put dots on everything, but if we are attacking some mobs and you go and pull another group of monster without telling anyone because you want to use more areas... Well, I think that it shoud count as "suicide"![]()

Guess i should of added more info,i mean as in i will be tanking boss slowly very slowly dropping from 40% hp to 10% and i look over to the heal and they are burning through their mp spamming stone.
Or with a dps who pop their biggest and strongest cds and moves on one add i just recently flashed, since the global cd and my having to run over to the add it leads to me going out of mp on flash then them pulling the other add before i can restore mana. i ussually get the aggro back in the next flash or 2 but its like they came for the purpose of beating me in eminity.
Flash can only DO so much when i have to also spend time self healing because of the healer and chasing adds because some range dps got trigger happy.
As a healer myself I always put keep tanking alive first and dpsing myself 2nd.When I go as a healer on low level dungeons I use to be cleric stance 90% of the time.
Schs rarely have to heal, eos does everything.
It doesn't matter if dds hit different mobs as long as they don't get initial pull. If they do let them tank a bit and they'll start getting the picture that's not a smart move.
Spam flash often and use your mp combo. It only gets worst for tanks as you get closer to end game. You are expected to know everything before you even learn them.

Fates don't teach people how to play = The results of bad players
FATEs are not the thing that results in bad players. Bad players are just bad, one way or another. Like anything, people start off poorly, but can learn if they choose to. Stop looking for something to blame (which is probably just something you, personally, dislike).
