Dragoons: A Rotation Reborn

So whats the actual DPS loss if I still use the old rotation of HT-Ph-IR-Dis-CT-TTT-Ht-Ph-TTT-TTT instead of the new rotation of HT-ID-Dis-CT-Ph-TTT-HT-TTT-Ph-ID-Dis-CT-HT-TTT-Ph-TTT?

Not sure on the stat, but we pretty much only used Fracture as a way to avoid clipping Chaos Thrust. It was the most amount of DPS without the risk of clipping. Now that it's okay to clip, we can do the new best rotation, which would have been the best in the first place, without worrying about clipping and losing DPS. It's also very nice to execute, once you get used to it.

What does Fracture have to do with my question? I'm curious about the actual % DPS gain for using the more complicated H IDC P TTT H TTT P IDC H TTT P TTT combo over the simpler H P IDC TTT H P TTT TTT combo?

As far as I know its going to be pretty minimal, I'm pretty sure the first page explains it, I could be wrong but it was >4% difference.

I digged a bit and couldn't find the post I wanted, but as far as I remember the average potency are the following :
H IDC P TTT H TTT P IDC H TTT P TTT => 135.7
HP IDC TTT => 133.X
You shouldn't go for HP IDC TTT HP TTT TTT as it's a little less efficient than HP IDC TTT rinse and repeat. The only time you will apply HP IDC TTT HP TTT TTT is on your very first opening as your CT is buffed by BfB and IR and better to keep the fully buffed DoT run.

Concerning the BiS list, every calculation tends to give the following as 463 (465 in fact) :
- Wyrm's Armet
- Wyrm's mail
- Allagan Gauntlets of maiming (T2)
- Hero's belt of maiming
- Allagan trousers of maiming (T1)
- Allagan Sollerets of maiming (T5)
- Allagan choker of striking (T2)
- Earthquake's Earrings
- Hero's Braclet of Slaying
- Allagan ring of striking (T4)
- Allagan ring of maiming (T4)

I don't know if it's because I'm running it under Excel 2007 and not 2010 but the solver is acting very weird. I have to run it multiple times as it doesn't always find the same result. Do you have the same behavior Dervy?

Anyway we won't have a real BiS list as long as we can't confirm the Acc's cap for T5.

Thanks for the new findings on the weights, glad det is much more valued now.

Since people really like to have different accuracy stats I calculated BiS for 482 to 460 accuracy and also 0 accuracy (extremes require shit accuracy)

If you mean in scores like 694.9879999999999 or 714.8249999999998 you got 694.988 and 714.825 then yea, it is because I have been using float/double numbers in my app and they're not accurate 100% and would kinda need to some rounding I guess but I didn't really bother. If you got scores much more different than that let me know

Make sure you're running the linear solver. Should be Simplex LP iirc.
