I'm fairly sure there's an option in character settings (or possibly system settings) that you can turn on to automatically skip cutscenes you've already seen.6. There is no option to turn off cutscenes. Why do we need to manually skip cut scenes every time we enter a dungeon or face a boss? It seems ridiculous during the storyline missions, where on the billionth Praetorium run every 3 minutes we are jamming our escape button and hitting accept. Give us the option to skip all cut scenes.
Just to clarify, that option only allows you to auto-skip transportation (i.e. airship) cutscenes. Which nobody uses anyway. Why we don't have an option to skip all cutscenes is beyond me. They are cool the first time you view them, and then become a pain in the ass for the entirety of the game.
I use them, if you want to move from town to town they are a lot cheaper than teleporting. And as most of my gil is vanishing into repairs and DoH equipment at the moment, I am being a cheapskate and use the airships
That said, an option to skip already seen cutscenes would be a nice thing.
