Yes and you are 3 hours mature in this game. You have no point that's my point.

    Nice edit.

If I ordered a steak and you kept telling me it would come out very soon over and over again for a long time, It's on the way etc for 9 months in this case, any normal human being would be pissed . Nice try .
What about some places that make you pay first ? Ring any bells in this situation??? Can I have my money back at least? Oh wait .....

Again your argument is flawed sorry

I'm trying to understand how your choice to play this game for the duration of its existence, and my choice to not, affects the intensity and validity of our desire for the game to improve? I just don't see it.

So what is the "right" amount of time we should have to wait for a game we payed retail price for, regardless of the free-to-play subscription?

Not trying to sound rude but your "are we there yet" analogy does not work either; in most situations were a child asks "are we there you yet?" you not only answer with "no," but you give an ETA, or a not for a long time at least. Square Enix on the other hand is saying "we will be there soon" 9 months later we are still not there.

And no you can not return PC games, let alone CD-key games to modern stores such as Game Stop.

Forgive me if I don't see eye to eye with you, but SE could easily have not dropped the fees to this game. It is only out of wanting to keep your business that they have. I'm only asking you to be a considerate customer. Is that so hard?
Ha, your right they didn't have to give it to us for no monthly fee but if they feel this way I invite them to start charging for this trash and see how many people continue playing. This argument is asinine. "They don't walk away with an $80 dollar disk", "They could have let the game go with the wind". I have news for you. Any company who sells a disk to a grip of people and then turn around 2 months later and say "Sorry this game is trash, we are closing servers" is going to go out of business. They have to keep this game running for a certain amount of time so they can claim to have provided the service it requires for a reasonable amount of time before they "have" to shut it down to even slightly get away with such a fail product. I for one purchased an $80 disk with my chips and they didn't have enough salt so I'm pissed.

BTW tell your customers to STFU because there is salt on the table if they don't like it. Problem here is... SE didn't even provide me with extra salt.. Stop trying to make everything ok, nobody is going to read your post and change their mind on a dime. Good job buddy.

You are correct about returning opened PC games. I did not mean to infer that you could. I should have said: "It's your choice to buy a game, and no one is responsible for refunding you if you do not like it." That was what I was trying to get at, albeit, poorly.

Also, you are not waiting for a game. You have the game. You play the game, no? It may not be a good game. But it is a game.

I'm sorry that so many people are getting frustrated. It shows how deeply people care about the game. I'm only trying to bring another side to what seems to be a one-sided fight against SE.

Because while you were enjoying another game myself and I'm sure a lot of others were playing the game reading the lodestone info etc expecting that every patch the game was going to go in the right direction. Do you see my post count? I been here since the start and I have like what 22 post or something? I did keep quiet I waited and played letting them take their time but enough is enough already, that is why I'm stressing the 9 months thing.

They don't have to provide you with anything. If they so choose, they can cut their loses and stop the game service right now. Do you truly believe Square Enix would go out of business? It's possible. But I'm not trying to make the point that they would.

The ONLY point I'm trying to make, and have ever tried to make here in this thread, is that people are acting ridiculous. Sorry. That's my opinion. You certainly have a right to disagree.

(This is my form of complaining, I suppose. Complaining about the complainers...I'd just as rather tell all of you to "STFU because there is salt on the table if they don't like it," but since I understand what you're going through, I will not. Plus, that would be rather rude.)

And I'm just as frustrated as you. I bite my nails every morning waiting for the FFXIVCore page to load so I can read any news that has been posted. I don't, however, go around insulting and degrading people for no reason. I'm not trying to argue with you, man, just trying to get you to see my point, and if you don't like it, to just disagree. Not to insult me.

How did I insult you the Nacho Libre thing? Just so you know I think that character is hilarious it was a joke and not an insult. You made a nacho reference in your topic and in your sig. If you feel insulted I apologize but I do disagree with your whole thing and found it to be a useless complaining about complainers.

lol, I could care less about the Nacho Libre thing. It was you telling me that I didn't understand because I haven't been playing for very long. I do understand. I've been waiting for this game for as long as most of us here, when it was first announced a couple of years back. I was at Distant Worlds when they first announced that Nobou was doing the soundtrack. I nearly crapped my pants.

But you're right. This is rather useless. I never really expected it to do much, but I had to get it out there for those who would listen, and perhaps express their similar or dissimilar opinions. We're cool, man.

Edit: Oooh. And the siggy quote is from Setzer in FFVI. I don't know why, but that quote really hit me.
