Also who is to say its 2-3 skills, it should be a full clas worth of 20-25 skills.
they said that it was going to be like a specialization, that limited your skill choice but offered a few questable skills

Rather than being advanced versions of classes, we would like players to think of jobs as specialized playing styles optimized for partying. While playing as a particular job will render you unable to equip certain actions of other classes, you will be compensated with access to exclusive actions, which can be acquired through quests.
In practice, players will find the existing classes effective when playing solo or in certain party setups. Jobs, however, will shine in party situations where specific skill sets are demanded
the way i see this info is it going to basically be like a more specific build with fewer options, and a few quest obtained skills to round out and enhance that role.

Say paladin, will probably have access to most of what glad has, be able to equip con skills, and have a few skills that would enhance that playstyle even more.

Well guess it's just one of things where you cant really like/hate until you've tried it out. Guildleves sounds great no paper but eventually became monotone. So I will see how this pans out before judging it more.
