None of that changes what I said, though. Being able to breed doesn't mean that two things are the same species. The mule example was just an example of the way it works in the real world. That is only assuming that the biology laws of Eorzea work in the same way as they do in our universe. I think the best way to explain this situation is too look at other MMOs.
TERA for example, as it has been explained through lore and various cross-breed NPCS that, the child always takes the apperance of the mother in regards to what race/species it is while both parents contribute to the lesser genetic makeup (Hair color, eye color, skin color, etc.). Pokemon also works this way so whos to say Eorzea doesn't also work in this fashion? Atleast untill they actually explain where baby Lalgagyns come from..
That's the one, its the reply from the other that makes the situation though.
Oh there are quite a few random miqo'te in duties that are just... Normal. Mostly in gridania, surprisingly, as part of the Wood Wailers and (I forget the name of the archer branch of their military). A good deal of the female pirates of Limsa are also miqo'teAlso as a traditional conspiracy theorist in character, I note in passing that (1) the Lalafels seem to be in charge of *everything*, behind the scenes and (2) Miqo'te girls are either dancers, servers, assistants, or they are unique independents, with no in-between (other than the example of Forgotten Springs) - Y'Shtola, K'Hylia, the Armorer's Guild Mistress...

Also some of this has been discussed before here if people would like to take a look: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/threads/101309-The-Lore-of-Inter-breeding
Thank you Nari.
So, Thancred had better watch his step, as it were...

Yes, Gridania appears to be the perfect little Ecotopia for Hyur, Elezen, and Miqo'te. I recall now the Archer's Guild's own Leih Aliapoh, and the excitable lass wanting to know of far-away places, down at Camp Tranquil, among others!
Are you referring to the Levequest giver? I know she has a Seeker name but is actually a Keeper. Not sure if this was just an oversight by SE or she is indeed the offspring of a Keeper + Seeker relationship.
Velox: Are you 100% sure she just doesn't have one or two obvious traits from a Keeper but the rest are Seeker? Gotta remember F'lhalminn who has mooncat eyes but is a suncat herself
I don't think she's the Leve-keeper; she's the lass who stands next to the world-weary, incognito Elezen and wants you to bring her one thing, anything, from Ul'dah because she's starry-eyed for far-away places. I will have to go back to Camp Tranquil now!
This thread gave me a good chuckle while at work and helped with some boredom. If a dev responded to this thread it would cause quite a ruckess across all of the forum. Ha ha!
