Does else anyone miss "open dungeons"? Old FFXIers?

A lot of people are saying this game is still young and fresh and we need to be patient. But clearly it isn't. It's a revamp and Yoshi poll'd his decisions back in 2011 for the big changes. Which was good because SE never really listened to his community. I begged 5years for a fucking Phalanx II on my RDM gaaaaaaah ahahaha XD.
The game design is way more casual than anyone expecting and gets boring too fast. And for my part... the class design is way too close on WoW and every job has its "butterclass" rotation which I really really hate. Ah well enough QQing and OTing.

They could add them and do similiar stuff to AF Coffer hunting. Dangerous and fun!
And yes I'm on the free trail of FF11 too until 23th haha =P

Aaah I was so excited about this free trial, as I really miss just travelling around the world. But to see that after 11 years, SE have still not bothered to make an up to date client availible for download, just turned me away from it again.
I actually did start the whole process, but seeing it would take over 9 hours to update, with ONLY Zilart and CoP installed, I just uninstalled again. The "Patch.txt" alone, litterally took 1 min and 22 seconds to download, on a 6 MB/s line.
Such a shame. Oh well, I'll still have all the fond memories of the many adventures in that world and the many awesome players I met, and the fantastic story aswell.

Granted this is just the download, and i understand where Kanash is coming from, this is what I mean when i implore posters who are fond of 11 to give it a whirl during the free period.

The game doesnt necessarily age too well. And you forget how much information newer mmos provide from the get go.

Addendum: You WILL have to remake all your macros if you didnt upload them.
