Except we don't have a normal weekly maintenance, we have maintenance whenever the Japanese have problems, and then SE says the heck to Na/Eu players we have to cater to our people and make the game appealing to them. :c

That doesn't really matter, the point is that a week long lockout is rather common.

I THINK that's what THEY meant and to this discussion yes its irrelevant. To derail the conversation more maintenance is needed when its needed no problems with it IMO.

The person you responded to was talking about the week long lockout. He just mentioned Maintenance time because that's how most do it. You took it off the rails and started blabbing about the Maintenance times instead. Hence why I responded.

Off the top of my head? Rift and SWTOR both. It's more common than you think. Just looked and some Raids in LOTRO were/are on a week long lockout.
