I really don't see the problem with CT having a 1 week lockout.

Come 2.1 you will be able to do 5 turns of Coil once a week for i90 loot, EM primals once a week for i90 weapons AND accessories, and CT once a week for i80 loot. This seems pretty fair to me, anymore would have been overkill.

Actually you'll be able to do CT as much as you want, you just can only get 1 item per week.

It's a large difference actually. Coil you can only do it once, if you don't get anything, you don't get anything. CT however, even if nothing you want drops in the first run, you can run it again. The problem I see however, is people will save their rolls for certain items, so I foresee a bunch of gear just getting destroyed.

This is pretty much what's going to happen.

Except then there's that issue sometimes where if everyone leaves an instance and you haven't passed on a loot item yet it'll automatically get put into your inventory. And I guess you would be shit out of luck if that happens.

Hate to say it, but if you are looking for a game that will keep you entertained a full week when you refuse to do anything but the absolute top tier endgame and only if you personally can get a shiny out of it, MMOs are not for you. Maybe try something like League of Legends or DoTA?

I'd like to get the gear for looks, not for the stats all the time.
And the WHM one doesn't look so bad. But to be locked out
by getting some cool looking gear isn't fun. I haven't even done Coil
so I wouldn't mind it to help me out with Coil when I want to. But eh...
