    Obviously since that newsletter was the first we've heard of it, nobody knows. It hasn't been stated yet.

    I also LOL that people are already complaining. So many times I've heard people complaining about coil since they can't 'help FC members run it', and claiming they 'don't even need gear drops', they just want to help. And people are already complaining that they can run it as much as they want but have a lock out on gear for x amount of time.

    I understand the need for gear lock out. Full i80 should be able to take down Twintania from what I've read. It's a artificial game barrier (like myth cap) that I can understand. They don't want everyone with gear that can take down Twintania (in theory, you still need to not be derpy) after one day of dungeon spamming. We should all just be happy there isn't a lock out on the dungeon itself.

    This is why we can't have nice things.

    I'm 3 pieces from all ilvl90 so I could care less if a group of full ilvl80s could take down T5, When people with ilvl70 have been doing it. It would be nice to help others with CoB but I know the reason why SE wont put a lotting lock out on coils is because people would sell gear and then everyone would be in ilvl90 in no time.

    I'm only complaining if the lock out is going to be to long. I have nothing to do in the game I log in a few hours a week do coils/cap myth and done. But I decided a few weeks ago that I would slowly level all jobs to 50, Then I would be able to do CT with all jobs and gear them out in ilvl80 to hold me over until 2.2 comes out next year.
    But if the lock out is going to be 12hrs+ then looks like I wont be playing the game as long as I'd like to.

You can (with lucky drops) fully gear out an alt in 10-11 days. Why do you need to have end game gear for all your alts at a moment's notice?     I also haven't seen one post where the majority of the people weren't wearing at least 3-4 pieces of i90 to beat twintania (which would essentially put their gear average ilevel just below 80). Crafted i70 with materia (essentially making it closer to i80 than i70) doesn't count.

    Considering you get both kinds of tomes from it, I know I'll be doing that right away (and it would make sense to do CT the first thing you do when you play after a reset to get an i80 AND Myth Tomes). And as long as the reward of tomes at the end of the dungeon isn't crap, most people will finish the dungeon simply for that.

    See, this really wastes the content they do have... Rather than giving people Mythology farming, Crystal Tower and Coil, they've decided to lump Mythology farming with everything. I never particularly enjoyed running the dungeons over and over, but it at least had its place. Now? Well, knowing my luck I'll cap Mythology before getting anything in Crystal Tower, without even touching Coil, and that isn't factoring in things like Dailies (which are hopefully just Philosophy). Dungeons literally seem to be for the casuals alone now... People who aren't geared, or in a group, to challenge Crystal Tower or Coil... Glad they get some variation at least...

    This is why I hate the Mythology cap, not because I'm against the notion of a cap in the first place, but because the cap is so ridiculously easy to reach. If they made Mythology harder to get by halving the number you get from everything, OK people would probably be annoyed, but at least they'd (currently) be playing twice as long. I'd much rather complain that the cap is too hard to reach and I occasionally don't reach it as a result, than complain that it takes a single day to be done with the whole thing... This will be twice they've made it easier to cap, which is the complete wrong direction to take, though I guess it can at least partially be balanced out with the cap rise, maybe it wont be so bad and Crystal Tower will drop similar amounts to Primals though...

    The lock out stuff is so people just dont breeze over the little content there is. For some of us the Game is a Monday only game which sucks. And the trolls for this are gonna be horrible. people are just gonna leave the duty once they get what they need.

    This! If the lock out is more than an 1-2 Hours then Crystal Tower will FAIL! IDK how the dungeons are ran yet but I'm pretty sure there will be gear otw to the end. A lot of people will come in get the gear they need/want if they win and leave.
