I really don't think it's fair to invalidate the OP's opinion merely because you've seen something similar in another thread before. If it's brought up again it means it's a concern that still affects people, and instead of turning a blind eye to it and complain in a childish manner, perhaps it should be addressed formally by whoever is in charge.

Imagine if "whoever is in charge" commented on every post brought up by more than one person. Would they have time in their life to even sleep? Would that person even want to live anymore after reading the 50th topic about miqo'te butts, patch times, titan carries, or bust sliders?

But they have no need to 'address' this issue, because it isn't one. It's in the terms of service that SE can and will take the game offline at any time for maintenance, without compensation to the player. You agreed to this when you signed up, and hence, you can't complain when they actually do it.

Yes it's annoying to have the game go offline when you want to play it, but that's life. You can't always get what you want, as Mick Jagger sung.

Well, first of all, it's their job. Secondly, I'm not saying they should address -every- single post, but at the very least they should answer the topic overall. So far in all the similar threads I've seen, no one has given a formal response regarding this topic.

Darnit all, I thought I removed that line in my original post stating that I demanded an employee look at and comment on my thread.

I am making this thread to indicate I also have an issue. If someone from the Square Enix team sees it and all the others and does something or say something to anyone who matters, awesome. Otherwise, if it's enough of an issue I will simply move on to another game that fits more into my life schedule. No idle threats, it's just a game but one I am currently paying for an one I have a valid opinion on.

Also, I am not just making this thread. I know there are other, possibly more valid avenues to get my opinion across to Square. I am just exhausting the resources I have to hope for a change to the game, one that few could argue would be better for all players.

Patches have come more than once a week, though not regularly. There should be a standard down time so at least players know what to expect. Outside of that, there should only be patches on a priorty basis, if a major game breaking bug is found.

If they set it at one specific time then one group of people would consistently be stopped from playing whenever they need maintenance (which is a lot) so they rotate it. Also as they rarely tell us what they are doing, there could very well be game breaking bugs, they just don't tell us about it.

I can't complain, what the hell am I doing right now? Now you're just being flat out ignorant. No one is saying they CAN'T do what they are doing, obviously they can. I am simply pointing out that it IS an issue. Again, I CAN do something by taking my business elsewhere, which leaves the ToS worthless.
