

I forget all the types now, but I generally used 2 ravagers to stagger with a commando. Sometimes I'd switch to Saboteurs for enfeebles and what not, if they actually used what was needed. if needed I'd have 1 sentinel and 2 healers.If you aren't constantly working the paradigms, then you didn't really utilize the system. So there's no real point continuing this conversation.
Hear what, I played FFX the first time with only Tidus, Auron and Yuna. I beat the game just fine with them. I played it a second time while switching characters constantly to counter enemy types. The difference in combat depth was extraordinary. You can play the game fine without taking advantage of it, but I think that's okay. It's up to the player to utilize and appreciate the combat.
Same guy, Motomu Toriyama. FF13 is pretty much a successor of FFX combat, but it is much more advanced.
