Does SE not realise their game has no content?

You are playing a FF game, that is known for it's storytelling above all else. When you got this game, what exactly did you expect to get?

This games story is the worst out of all the FF's I've played.
I'm not saying it's horrible but it's not that good at all in comparisons. It gets good when you're 40+.
[The whole Scion business, no spoilers.] It's sad that the ball finally gets rolling around that time.
And I admit, I had a lot of fun in my 40's.

Well I teared up at some parts of the story, I loved the story so much to me personally it's one of the best. ( Personally 7's story was meh to me).
