This is my new forum signature. If I agreed with you any more harder than I am now, the veins in my forehead would explode so hard it would create a black hole big enough to consume the universe. And this is the part that really makes me laugh, because if there's one group who nobody cares about their opinions, it's the 'progression raiders!' Games shouldn't be made with them in mind, because they are for the most part a fickle and angry group, apt to jump ship and unsub at any moment, who skip most of your hard work and piss on the rest of your content as being 'boring.' Anything that doesn't 'progress' them along a very narrow definition? 'Boring.'

The point you are missing though is this game was designed to appeal to the "progression raider". Those who like to zoom to the "endgame" and spam raids. And this is the part that really makes me laugh, because if there's one group who nobody cares about their opinions, it's the 'progression raiders!' So not only does this game "care" about their opinions. They constructed their whole game in such a way as to accommodate them. And still they can't make them happy. And the reason for this is because the " race to the endgame and raid" model is flawed and a recepi for boredom anyway you cook it.

Opinions are a dime a dozen ; P

I don't think anyone has so far projected their opinion as a universal fact. It's a given when someone expresses a sentiment that it applies to them, like "from whence" is a redundant given and has become just "whence"
Do you want everyone to proceed their thoughts with "I think"
The progression player base seems to be IN MY OPINION expressing a sentiment that upsets them.
Have you read the title of this thread???

Yeah, I did. Where in that title is he speaking for anyone other than himself? It's a bold and rather argumentative title for a thread, but I'm not included automatically in that title, though I happen to agree with it and include myself in that camp by choice.

When he said "Does SE realize this game has no content?" Had he added "that I like" onto the end of that, this thread could have taken an entirely different path. Being that there is content, and the OP is choosing to ignore it, we're having a totally different conversation than I think the OP really intended.
The fact remains that for the OP to be satisfied, he really just needs to wait until the content that he likes is delivered.

I think the OP is wrong.
But I do want to say, I had 2 classes at 50, and last weekend I hit all classes at 50 and I'm on my 6th Relic.
I do find it kinda "hmmmm" that I'm already farther along in this game than 10 years of FFXI before the first update. But I figure that Yoshi will continue to upgrade at a strong pace so we'll see.

Except anyone with an understanding of what an opinion is would realize how redundant that is. This is the same reason the Japanese don't proceed sentences where the subject has already been established by re-establishing the subject in question. It's a given that the subject hasn't changed, there's no need to add extra information.

Except that there is. "There is no content" is a completely different statement than "there is no content that I like." The first 4 words are the same, the meaning is vastly different.Except anyone with an understanding of what an opinion is would realize how redundant that is. It's a given that the subject hasn't changed, there's no need to add extra information.
