Certainly not happy about these "buffs" in the slightest.

It basicly comes down to me that Warrior has a permanent +20% HP healed and +25% total HP now with IMMENSE enmity generating options and the same defensive damage reduction/immunity buffs that a Paladin has, while being able to unleash it's most devastating attacks now without worry, completely obliterating anything Paladin can do. While damage output was limited before all this to how much risk you wanted to run by losing your curing buff, as it should have been, Warrior now has a best of both worlds kind of thing going for it.

All the goodies, none of the downsides.

Superior HP, Superior Damage Output, Superior Crit Rate, Superior Curing, Equal if not better damage reduction from abilities, Equal damage immunity as PLD, oh right, and i almost forgot about Warrior now also having IMMENSE increased Enmity Generation on all its abilities.

This isnt "fixing" warrior, this is "ruining" tanking entirely for everything else.

Dont get so riled up ,Im sure all Jobs will see changes in 2.1,I believe plds will get buffs too but not as much as WAR do to keep them balanced. And as I stated b4, this onlly brings WAR up to par to PLD. PLD still has better mitigation CD's, Stun on demand, Constant 20% Reduction, More Mitigation Cooldowns, and Shield.

Currently I think PLD and WAR are pretty close to each other when it comes to threat. PLD may have some troubles with AoE, but after this update WAR is going to pass PLD at threat and I think that for most occasions it's a good thing. PLD still has more cooldowns, passive dmg reduce and shield which makes them easier to heal because taking less dmg.

Think something like Coil 2 is an good example with -25% dmg reduce for tanks. Combination of WAR + PLD will be awesome because WAR can generate a lot of threat at start which PLD gets with Provoke.
Second thing I would think is Coil 4 where PLD still should tank single target while WAR goes AoE.

Currently 2x PLD is pretty much always best way to go and I'm hoping this will make WAR + PLD as best combination for most end game content.

I'm almost certain the enmity changes will apply to Shield Oath and Flash as well. I'm sure Yoshi-P understands how difficult it is for a fresh level 50 to hold threat against a decked out ilvl 90, which is what the increased enmity is supposed to address.

I don't know, SE has a habit of not seeing the forest from the tree's. From playing both, I know war is far better at group hate. Packs of trash mobs are Warriors bag.
Hell hate has never been a problem for War at all. It's really just been surviving boss fights. They really needed to address Flash along with warrior. Flash is far too weak.
Provoke only putting you one above the highest hate needs to be fixed. It's really needs to be at least 500 to give a buffer. it's on a long enough cooldown as it is. Pld
dmg plus provoke is not nearly high enough to reclaim hate if the group isn't paying attention. I don't have this problem with warrior. never have.
