Why do folk keep saying this when it's been explained by several people now how the restriction does not affect RMT at all?
And in this instance, SE is completely, utterly wrong.

This is getting old, stop getting in the way of us sharing items with our mules, geez, FFXI has no problems with it at all, you can ever send Rare/Ex (Unique/Untradable) gear/weapons to your mules. Stop with the Anti-RMT excuse, most of us don't believe it, not even for one second.
Know what else you can do in XI you can't in XIV? Store items >.>This is getting old, stop getting in the way of us sharing items with our mules, geez, FFXI has no problems with it at all, you can ever send Rare/Ex (Unique/Untradable) gear/weapons to your mules. can we have a response about this please are we allowed to do it or notI don't know if this has been posted since I didn't read the entire thread but you could:
Step 1: Log on character A and log out inside of an instance (it will appear as online and inside the instance even after you log out)
Step 2: Log on character B and send character A a friend invite.
Step 3: Log on character A and accept the invite
Congratulations you can now mail things to your alts.
thanks
Answer this question:
Can you log out, log into a second character on your account and befriend your main character? If the answer is no, it's clearly an exploit to get around a limitation imposed by the company
The fact you have to do very specific steps in order to do it is a nono to do. Would you get banned? Maybe, maybe not, EULA/ToS states they can ban you if they just feel like it, so it is grounds for banning but whether they do it or not is TBD.

You maybe right but it would do no harm to get it confirmed either way and if it is a sort of exploit then we have brought it to there attention to fix, though not to sure what will happen to the players that have actually done it and are using this umm techniqueAnswer this question:
