Muling: Let us mail to alts without having them on friend list

When my inventory and both retainers filled up I spent a solid 2 days stressing what to do. My OCD doesn't make it easy at all to get rid of items I "earned" or worked for. But I finally had an epiphany: My inventory space is making me not enjoy my 1st mmo?!?! What is wrong with me? So I grabbed what I could (took a few trips), and sold all my nq mats to an npc. Stressed for a bit about the $ I was losing but then just said F it, I'll make more. You absolutely don't need to horde everything unless you are literally going to play the entire time with no human interaction. Your FC mates alone should be able to supply you mats when you need them. Problem is there's no real solution for peeps like me who actually do enjoy collecting EVERYTHING. Oh well, I'll deal!

I have alt characters not for the storage space, but for the ability to sell more items. Once you start to have multiple professions, 40 spaces just doesn't cut it.

Allowing people to mail to characters on their own accounts would make things so much easier. I understand the RMT thing, but they're just sending the gil between accounts anyways, so this restriction probably doesn't harm them all that much to begin with. It certainly harms legitimate players far more, for sure.

It's like the old 2nd amendment argument that disarming the law-abiding populace only ensures that the only people to remained armed will be the outlaws. Obviously the RMT aren't having any problems with posting to the market or finding places to keep all the items farmed on stolen accounts.

Any countermeasures against RMT that the current hindrances actually pose doesn't really affect them, it only actually affects the players who are already honoring the terms of service.

The real issue here isn't about need more space. But about a huge number of players who actually have and play alts. Yes one character could do it all but many of us like different looks race, sex and all that based on an ideal we have for a character. We should be able to send useful stuff including crafted goods from own main to our alt and so forth.

This has nothing to do with RMT. Its easy enough to code that you can mail to others on your own account. It wouldn't be that hard to make it so you can send friend requests to offline players. Its simply the Devs do not care about doing so and using a BS excuse as their reason as they have no valid excuse.

You should be making plans, because not being able to mail to my alts is absurd.
