On that note why are you on a ps3 typing on a forum for final fantasy xiv.

I would assume its because she is playing FFXIV on the PC (in full screen without 3rd party tools) and it doesn't allow alt-tabbing so the only way to post on a forum, without shutting the game down, is to use a different device. I cannot wait until alt-tabbing is officially implemented.

I love my PS3, but its browser is terrible. I think I would rather post from my phone than use it

Move the taskbar to the top of your screen, and make it auto hide. Open a game in window mode, but with your max screen resolution. Drag and drop so you can't see the border. Problem solved.

I know that I personally get lower performance when I do that. And considering my PC barely runs FFXIV on medium-low settings, this isn't an option for me. It may be a solution for others though.

I have a decent rig and in order to play FFXIV on high settings it needs to be in fullscreen, when i go to windowed i have to drop to medium settings. I personally cant wait for them to just fix the problem and allow alt + tabing the program without crashing, its pretty elementary (seeing as every other game including crysis allows alt tabing) to still have your program crash from alt tab in fullscreen.

I wish I had time to answer this question properly, but I don't and I'm going to be without internet for a few days, so I just wanted to say that I really appreciate it, and that this thread itself has been great in many ways.

I'm not being emotional. You misunderstabding how I'm posting. Try asking me questions.
Also please do not speculate how people are, or their reasoning to type from certain systems. I play ffxiv on my brothers laptop asa my pc broke and have no means to get it fixed. It broke AFTER I bought ffxiv and tried installing it. I do not have acess to the site nor time to type on this site on my brother laptop. I get on>> log in >> play >> log off. Since i have 24/7 access to my ps3. I use it to post.

I seriously think anyone/ everyone here should better educate yourselves in ADD. And not via WebMD. But via ADD books etc. What you precieve as emotional typing, is me typing fast. The way my brain is wired I lose track of what I want to say, very quickly. Have trouble with grammar locations. And sometimes My sentances get mixed together due to my though process is 10x faster then my typing. I do not have the best coordination with typing or penminship and tend to hit wrong letters, or forget how something is spelled. It is VERY frustrating thing to deal with on a day to day basis. I also tend to get distracked easily.

This tends to make me appear rude sounding as I'm just trying to get my though on paper/ the screen And tend to be extremely blunt about it. I do not like being rude. Nor am I trying to be rude. That is Why I stated adding the happy faces. To let ppl know I'm not trying to be rude or a smart @$$.

As I suggested learn to get to know people before you judge them.

The problem I see with soloing in an MMO is what MMO stands for Massive Multiplayer Online. You can play a game like Morrowind, ect just download all the custom content. Also in my opinion Soloing in an MMO gives the illusion of a dead community. I miss the OLD MMO days they should just start making MSO games. So people who still want to play MMOs the way they were originally intended to be played can.

I wasn't doing a sob story, Just trying to get people to understand me better. Alot of people have misguides stances on What ADD actually is, nor truely understand how a pain it is to deal with. Why should I get mistreated for something I can't exactly control?
