On that note why are you on a ps3 typing on a forum for final fantasy xiv.

I would assume its because she is playing FFXIV on the PC (in full screen without 3rd party tools) and it doesn't allow alt-tabbing so the only way to post on a forum, without shutting the game down, is to use a different device. I cannot wait until alt-tabbing is officially implemented.

I love my PS3, but its browser is terrible. I think I would rather post from my phone than use it

I'm not being emotional. You misunderstabding how I'm posting. Try asking me questions.
Also please do not speculate how people are, or their reasoning to type from certain systems. I play ffxiv on my brothers laptop asa my pc broke and have no means to get it fixed. It broke AFTER I bought ffxiv and tried installing it. I do not have acess to the site nor time to type on this site on my brother laptop. I get on>> log in >> play >> log off. Since i have 24/7 access to my ps3. I use it to post.

I think those who let bad parties rule their gaming should really ease up. And don;t preach if they can't do Those who stick to their friends or LS;s is what is ruining ffxiv for alot of ppl. I can't even talk to anyone... I've talked to 4 ppl in this game. and been playing for almost a mnth. IMO that is a bad mmo community. I've had both good and bad parties in ffxi. And I do not let each rule my game play. TBH the first person I talked to wad Vid who started the convo by saying "you are on the wrong server" ^.^ nice way to start ffxiv :P

Bad parties do not rule my gaming experience. Bad parties ruin my random group request experience. i have plenty of fun when i am with friends. Although it hasn't occured in this game yet. Partying with friends and LS members gives way to talking and using stategy and tolerence of someone not that well equipped. Working with friends also leads to helping that one person who needs a helping hand.

random group requests leads to rushing and ppl dropping if something goes bad. Theres no tolerence with random groups.

As for whats killing FFxvi. Its not that you cannot find groups, since grouping is not needed yet. I say its a quite a few reasons but thats for another thread.

Its not ppl not talking to each other thats a prob either. IMHO it would be a shitty chat system and the excessive use of animations that ruins the chatting. IMHO its a pain in the butt to open chat while crafting, attacking or anything except when you stand in 1 spot.

@ asment No i took out the stuff that was irrelivent/ the quote only fit if I shortent it. And no I'm not dumb either. I gave good examples on how multiplayer in an RPG can infact mean GROUPING.

He is still asking for solo content or the same content a group can do but solo. Now This isn't stating "easy content" Or he is asking for "easy content" BUT content does infact need to be either or. WoW is a good example. You can solo from 1-max. I perfer leveling in a group. And asked my b/f at the time if he wanted to do quests with me. Even he told me "why bother you can solo the quests". I asked other people, I got the same reply. When content can be solo'ed or done in a group. People would solo just to get it done w/o wasting time. And will infact tell people who perfer to group "it solo-able no reason to group".

Honestly he did infact state from the first post on he does not like to group. And openly admited he questions why people group in the first place. And in my opinion does this in a negative way.
Solo'ers can pick and choose any mmo. There will be content that people can solo. And there will be content meant for grouping. This comment was stated several times.
His treply has been "why, why does content gotta be either or, why can content be both?"
the replies back have been "because that is the way it is, and that if content is both people will choose to solo over grouping because there would be no need to group, that even if you do want to group you get mocked"
he then replies, back "your just saying something that is made up, there isn't no rule that mmo sare about grouping. or your just saying "your right and i'm wrong"

By diffinition that is infact attacking someone.

truth be told After abyssea was launched i ended up soloing alot or just duoing with my then bf. As getting a group under level 75 was non existant. So again I have no hate for solo'ers just those who are rude about it. I feel the OP was rude about it, and actually asked the op why this topic is even up, as I never seen anyone complain about solo'ers ingame or on these forums. To me he is simply saying "i join mmo and play solo, I do not and even dislike to group, got an issue with that too bad" He wants people to understand his side, and his side only. And wheb someone agrees that he has a right to solo, but then adds "but expect group content at some point" he posts like that is a personal insult.
And constently askes "why it needs to be like that?" To anyone who does this. Ingnoring or attacking any explination. Again this is in my opinion.

I mostly suggested for him to be less rude. If he wants ppl to understand his pov he can do so w/o the self entitlement or soapbox "i speak for soloist".

Move the taskbar to the top of your screen, and make it auto hide. Open a game in window mode, but with your max screen resolution. Drag and drop so you can't see the border. Problem solved.
