    24hr is a bit harsh but there NEEDs to be more of a punishment for always ditching or even trolling the queue, the only ones that'd be against any punishment are usually the ones that does it themselves.

    24 hours is too much. Even the douchebags are paying for a subscribtion, so there would be an outrage at SE.

    15 mins is ok, but shouldent really be more than 30 mins tops. It still completely sux having to take that lockout, if you have valid reason to leave.

    Last week, after sitting in DF for 45-50 mins on WHM, I finally get a group for Stone Vigil. The tank were equipped with DoW gear, a lv 25 conjurer shield and the jewelry was a mix of crafting, spiritbind and INT.
    First pull, he loses lil over half his HP pool before I can even finish casting cure. Wich then made 2 mobs go "nom nom nom" on me, cause he never used flash.

    So yeah. I left and took the 15 mins lockout. Afterall, that tank made me waste the time on DF aswell.


    If SE could implement a mechanic, that keeps check on how often a player leaves a dungeon, then increase the lockout time for every time he leaves, withtin a certain time frame.
    For example, join and leave a dungeon 4 times in an hour, the lockout is now doubled. If he leaves 4 times within another hour, its doubled yet again so its up to 1 hour lockout... dunno if that could work or even do anything.

    Edit: Like Kewitt mentioned on page 1... durr me lol

    I agree actually. I never ragequit myself, the only time i quit is after someone left already.
    So i dont understand tanks saying "zomfg dis mage got less HP then me, the tank" *rage quit*

    And then tanks also ragequit cuz there is "not enough dps" but not even bothering to mark xO

    ans so on ~

    So id be glad to see the penalty to go up each time. Starting with 1 hour, ending with a 3day DF ban~
    But, add an option to "votekick" and also an option to "votesurrender".

    ah and why I mostly critic tanks is: from my view tanks are the ones most RQing also they are the ones who can like instajoin, cuz they're kinda rare. So i dont want to waste 4h queing only cuz the all mighty tank thinks i need 2 hp more so i can do more dmg.

    LOL number 3 is how you get around the lock out. I didn't want to say it, But even if they did add a 24hr lock out and we force DC ourselves SE cannot add a 24hr lockout on us there are just to many connection issues that can happen for them to say "OH you 90k well you still have 24hr lockout" People would Rage so hard.

    In short OP there will never ever be a 24hr lockout in a MMO for leaving a group.

    Instead of a 24hr lockout.. they could do something like a stat reduction for X amount of time for quitting too much... but then again they would probably just re-enter with crap stats and troll until it wears off <_<; or maybe make them unable to DF on that job/class for a while?

    I don't see why I should get a 24 hr ban for leaving a dungeon when the tank used fate to lvl and has no idea how to hold hate on more than one mob at a time letting the rest eat us alive or do to the fact that our healer is a bot or a second char the tank is also controlling, having dps purposely pulling large groups to wipe us and then blaming the tank for not doing his/her job, the tank has no idea how to marks so you have to sit for 3 minutes between pulls so they can slowly mark them, oh my the list is long.

    I never insta-quit but there is no reason I should waste 90 minutes of my life because Im in a group with one of the above or all the rest I could list just so I can save myself from being locked out for 24 hrs. The trolling in DF is bad enough, this would just make it worse
