Yes lazy, and no, its not why its there.... Its there so groups in the dungeon can replenish their ranks if they lose someone for whatever reason.
NOT for you to specifically, and only look for those groups and spam withdraw till you get one.
On another note, if you don't have the time then you don't have the time, end of. If I didn't have the time to do things properly I wouldn't bother until I did.
Before you suggest otherwise, I have a full time job etc and can manage 2 or so hours an evening and I manage to do things in full and not be lazy. I cant believe you have less and still pay for this game.
Actually the join in progress is there so that you MIGHT find a party in progress and it MIGHT help everyone finish the dungeon, not for people to abuse it. If your so called "good excuse" really is that you don't have enough time, you really, really should not be looking for dungeons. What I find amusing is that sometimes the time for those people to find a "proper" party is in fact longer than actually playing through the entire dungeon. Same for people ragequitting in "bad" parties and taking the 15 minute penalty: We are already done before you can even try to enter again.
You know I should write names of these people down and if they happen to end up in a dungeon with me I'll just stop pressing attack buttons as a DPS. I mean I simply don't have the TIME to press buttons on my keyboard. I'm sure they'll understand my busy schedule.

Besides the fact that the join in progress is not there for that reason, what makes you think that your time is worth more than theirs? Keep in mind that you're screwing their queue and their chances to get a proper player that would like to do the full dungeon, thus making them having to wait longer than they should if you weren't abusing the system.

I work 64-72 hours a week, 2-3 days of that is 16 hour shifts, and even I don't do this. I still manage to find groups to do Coil with, still manage to cap my myth tomes very quickly (10~20min runs), and have a couple relics already with several Ilvl 90 items. I've never had to queue hop to get that completed and still have more than enough time to do what is needed. I even have time to vpn into my work domain and do a few things from home also. You're reason is invalid and boils down to sheer laziness. Get used to it.

How to be efficent with the amount of free time your given without being an enormous entitled jerkwad:
I too work, and I can almost go a week without playing. Even still if I have more than an hour of playtime I'll gather my friends, or even hop on a speedrun pug in mor dhona.I work 64-72 hours a week, 2-3 days of that is 16 hour shifts, and even I don't do this. If I have less than that, then why bother? Another day.
No matter how you slice it, you're still inconveniencing others for the sake of your time and justifying it by "oh i'm so busy busy busy busy" doesn't make you innocent.
I also don't withdraw and rejoin in seconds, I found out early on that you generally just get the same one you just left.
I pay to play, and I play my way.....
