This seems to be the norm on my server, Cactuar. "LFM HM primals, must have full darklight, must have relic, know fights, no melee". "LFM WP/AK, must have relic, full darklight..."

I've had many kills against Ifrit and Garuda with the DF. Titan groups seem to regularily kill the heart now....but they usuall fall apart shortly afterwards.

theres no reason to be dying on garuda anymore, id be doing the same thing. Im not gonna sit ina group and bash my head against a brick wall when its unneccesary to do so. If it fails one time, im done, waste of time. if someone says they are new, i gotta see who the hell is saying that, if its a healer who cares, if its a DpS who cares, if its a tank, bye, im not even gonna waste my time cuz its going to be a failure.

I'm not a serial rage-quitter or anything, but sometimes a party just isn't going anywhere.

For instance: AK where the French DPS and SCH (all from the same French-only FC) refuse to follow markers, the SCH didn't have her fairy out half the time, and the relic BRD would start unloading before I had even claimed the trash mobs. Garuda HM where both tanks and the other healer were completely new to the fight and didn't want to watch any videos or look up strategies. Garuda HM where the DPS couldn't focus the green add or stand away from the front of Garuda. WP where three adds would be up on the pudding boss by the time she targeted another player, and one add would be up by the time she summoned the next set. Countless Titan HMs where BRDs just couldn't move despite being the most mobile job in the game.

There are bad players in this game. Lots of them, in fact. They are the type of player that no amount of coaching or explaining will help. Dealing with bad parties every other group tends to make people less likely to give your bad party a chance.

I completely understand this issue. I have got people ragequit after the first attempt even tho the party did OK and only wiped cause of a mistake.

I also hate that queue timers are way higher for dps classes and for the others sometimes it is an insta pop. I feel the pain of having to wait a long time to have someone ragequit but I also understand that doing the fight with new ppl when you already know the fight 100% is tedious as hell.

The problem are queue times for dps classes imo.

You're expecting too much of a DF group if you think there's no reason to be dying even on garuda. There are still plenty of people new or inexperienced to the fight be it a tank, healer, or dps. No need to waste other people's time just because you can't handle a wipe if an inexperienced tank happens to show up.

Supply Vs Demand. Nothing you can do about it. It is same in every other game. If you are a DPS, your timer is going to be long because everyone and their miquote are playing DPS class/job.

Too bad you cant thumb down people on this fourm. You are wrong, there is still reason for people to dying on Garuda, especially it is a new player playing a tank role. Tank role relies on actual experience, and dying is part of learning process. Your type of mindset would never survives in FF11, you are still here playing only because DF allows social outcasts to exist.

Woah. What? "anymore"? What has changed that allows inexperienced players to beat it every time? Did they nerf it when I wasn't looking?

I get what you are saying about teams that don't work.. But this is where I have a problem. Lots of people like to queue up for a fight blind the first time. There is nothing wrong with this, and it is hardly worth quitting over. There is nothing in game that says you must use youtube as a resource guide. I come across people like this in dungeons all the time, I let them figure it out, or if they want advice give it. Rarely does it mean a guaranteed wipe.

Also, there aren't that many "bad players" in this game. There are quite a number who are slower. Most are a lot slower than the so called "good" players, because in my experience the bigger issue is "good players" learn faster, and thus assume anyone who doesn't learn as fast is "bad". Which is honestly ridiculous.

I have rarely come across a player who even when given the time, didn't improve. By which I mean, the time to actually fail and learn through experience.

What I find is that most people do not realize that Garuda becomes easier because u are already familiar with the fight, and by the time u return to her, you are probably no longer in your AF gear but more DL, meaning more allowances for getting hurt.

Regardlessly, the rage quit attitude is really bad, though it is also caused by SE's sneak replacement of Fatique system (just look at ur Tomestones that has caused this rush to gather them.

I do however wish to have a DF blacklist system, because some DF people are especially obnoxious.
