I got people dieing because they didnt hide behind the rocks, ragequit. Probably blaming the healer while doing so.
I really would like a system that would leave out people from my DF if I put them in some sort of blacklist.

My personal favorite is the tanks that pull 3+ packs of critters, die, lose agro, healer gets killed followed by everyone else and then quit.
I ran WP all day today and never pulled more than two groups at once... only had one run take longer than 30 minutes and that was only because our healer seemed confused by his job. My gear is trash but those runs go smooth because we don't do anything stupid.
And yeah... "Don't screw up.", "Lets make this quick" and " don't fail" are code words for "I am terrible". Titan story mode tank says "Don't fail" and then went on to do everything wrong you could possibly do wrong including getting knocked off... while tanking.
Earlier this week I ran WP with two other members of my FC. We all have Relic+1 and full DL and at least two of us had speed-run it before (the third probably had, I just hadn't done it with them). We didn't have a tank, so DF'd that. The one we got was also well-geared, and (without confirming what we were doing) started to try to speed-run it. They rushed around the corner, trying to avoid pulling the first two tonberries, which inevitably aggro'd on the healer so we wiped during the first pull. And the tank was immediately gone.
We did quite quickly get a replacement who was fine, but I don't know what that tank expected - we were an experienced and well-geared group and we only wiped because the tank was trying to save a few seconds without having communicated anything. We'd probably have been finishing by the time their 15-minute penalty had been up if they hadn't had such a zero-tolerance attitude (to their own faults..!).
Well you could do with out of the box tankEarlier this week I ran WP with two other members of my FC. Mobs will go at SMN when you pull, so sleeping the 2 adds works well. Your healer should stoneskin + regen titan and toss cure 1 here and there. It may take a few adjustment to your play style but it is totally doable to do it without the traditional tank. Blm + Drg, Mnk + Sch + Smn can works well with this odd set up. Whm + Drg, Mnk, Brd + Smn can also works quite well. It's not your typical set up but it's one of the most fun you'll ever have

I try not to quit, but sometimes you have to when the party is going nowhere and unwilling to work as a team or follow instructions. very rarely do I leave a dungeon.
I've been in many groups where it takes some people faceplanting several times until everyone gels and then the rest goes smoothly. Even if its me getting faceplanted because heals weren't coming in, or (and it happens because I'm not as amazing as some of you) I goof up... I just rez, run back, and go again.
The higher I get in levels, the more I notice people often at the start of a dungeon are just not ready for what challenges await. But very often without anyone leaving, by the end we're working a smooth machine through the process.
I guess I have higher wipe tolerance than some of you tanks... I've been at it since the days of classic WoW... and "back in my day" we'd wipe 60 times, uphill both ways, just getting to the boss. And LIKE it. Its how we learned stuff. Its how we broke in new members. Nobody'd cast blame, nobody'd rage. We just accepted that a wipe was a part of the process.
Nobody ever expected to get to level 99 of Pacman on their first quarter...
So I don't get you young whipper-snappers now with all your ragequits.

I had someone ragequit out of Cutter's Cry the other day with 3 minutes left. Mediocre healer, couldn't figure out how to not get killed by every boss AoE (died 3 times consecutively to Dragon's Voice -- c'mon, man!). Too bad, really, because I won anyway with about 24 seconds remaining on the clock. Good thing that boss has no offense whatsoever. Would've been a bit of poetic justice had the chest dropped healer gear, but alas, it was DPS gear.
I remember my first DF Garuda battle...ah, well, it wasn't actually a battle. Cause similarly like you mentioned, someone left after I said 'Hey, I'm new, but I've watched several videos. Feel free to give me tips.' I had over 5100+ HP, so it wasn't gear.
Had to lie to a shout group about experience just to off-tank and learn the patterns. I almost understand leaving after an initial wipe, we've all got prerogatives, but before we even try? Sad.
Wow tc, I'm so sorry, I don't know what to say... You failed 12 times?
