I didn't realize parrots played this game.
Where in my post did I ever say I was expecting a perfect party? The issue is about the players who ragequit without giving any real effort. Their attitude is that they are entitled to flawless fast runs when they use the DF to find a group. Ironically, thanks to the way the duty finder works, their "ideal party" is not likely to be formed. As I stated before, they quit when things get rough, and don't even try to work out the issues. then everyone is stuck looking for another party. Ragequit within 10~15 minutes followed by 30 minutes to an hour searching for a new group is hardly efficient, so yeah, ragequitters just waste everyone's time.

I have seen this a lot, and all it will take is 1 little bit of advice to the tank, or positioning and we would win, but nope one fail someone ragequits.

Maybe try /shout Lfg Garuda HM?
Why would you ever use the duty finder for anything past AK or Ifrit?
In Rev's Toll there are always multiple ppl shouting for Garuda and just about everything else. Answer a LFM shout or grab any other ppl that are LFG. Not that hard. The time it takes to grab ppl on your own server is usually faster than the DF. And on the plus side when you are in a group of ppl from your own server they tend to at least act a little more mature.

I don't even DF Garuda, but here's a fun fact:
99% of server shouts in Revenant demand EGR: Experience, Gear, Relic. For anything. Also, most shouts for Garuda / Ifrit are for farming parties - they won't let you in if you just want to do once for relic quest, for example.
I actually have far more successful Duty finder Garuda runs than Ifrit ones for some reason. People always get hit by the charges >_<Maybe try /shout Lfg Garuda HM?

Also, on some of the lower pop servers there might not be garuda groups going that often, or those that do have requirements like full DL gear.

HMs should either not be in DF or they need to add 'join in progress' to them. extremely frustrating to become stuck on one or two fight, not because its that difficult, but rather because someone always quits. Ifrit & Titan were the worst for me with that. Garuda i lucked out, but still, to Q for 30+ min.. get in... for whatever reason someone quits... start all over.... -_-

I have gotten this on garuda as well, but it isn't limited to the primals.
And I suspect it is often the same tanks though, because I had this happen three dungeons in a row, with the same tank. Two wipe dropouts. First dungeon was CC. Made it to the last boss. Wiped two times because the DPS were new and didn't understand the in/out/run mechanics. They had just figured out the in/out part, after I explained it again, when the tank rage quit.. with 30 minutes on the clock so plenty of time for the DPS to figure out the rest of the fight since we were continuously getting down to 40%.
Next dungeon, I queue up for DD, my first time because there is no tank ever queued for that one for me. Same tank. We wipe once pre-first boss. Make it through to the second boss. We wipe once. Tank drops.
I queue up for Stone vigil. Same freaking tank. Two wipe. Tank quits.... I don't even know what to say to that. The guy just failed three dungeons in a row, wasted hours of his time, and hours of other peoples (because tanks rarely queue in progress), rather then wait for the other party members to figure out the fights.
The only reason I didn't just quit the third time I saw him was because of how long the queue is for the DPS and it wouldn't be fair to them. But it ended up not mattering anyway.
That right there is why there needs to be a better lockout punishment system. That tank should have been locked out of DF without a premade at least for more than 15 minutes, I would say a day at that point. Anyone who quits habitually like that should be getting their own group together outside of DF, rather than waste other peoples time.
Yeah but chances are he can't find a good fc since any good ones wont put up with crap like that. Even the so called professional ones requires their members to be competent and willing to take/give advice. After all, give a man a fish, he eats for one night. Teach him to fish and he'll eat for life.
