Bards are fine and you will lose all grace when the damage adjustment is very minor. Good luck getting in a WP speed run bro. Most utility
Safest, can stand anywhere and continue damage
No cast times
Least amount of skill required
Yet top damage in many fights with the least amount of effort.
And people are surprised about the nerf? You think it's unfair? Really? It's unfair to anyone who isn't a bard that bards have been OP so long. Have a little grace because bards do indeed need to be toned down.

aoe in the game hit both melee and range
one of the most squishy class
More work have to be done than other dps who just need to dps.
Let not talk about cosmetic as BRD from allagan to AF2 look like crap. That why a lot of scrub roll DRG and cry before trying to get better.
I honestly don't think bards need any change at all. At best maybe just take blood for blood away since it does counter the songs dmg debuff. Aside from that, I don't think any successful Coil group brings a bard with them for the DPS. It is the songs and that damn silence that define the Job in Coil.
I would never bring 2 bards to Coil I rather have diversity. 1 PLD, 1 WAR, 1 SCH, 1 WHM, 1 SMN, 1 MNK (DRG sucks, they need a buff), 1 BRD & 1 BLM.

If bards get a nerf, please stop the DF from putting 2 bards in one df group.. No damage limit break AND im a nerfed class in with another bard? no thanks!
I think my only gripe about brd is how easy it is. The risk versus reward just isn't there.
If you are talking about fates/Low primordials you shouldn't call it a sucky DD as you have not seen much of its potential at LV25 anyway. I can tell you once you actualy become BRD you will get a noticeable boost in stats and you will see a difference, i'm not gonna say more as I am only LV36 for now, but I love it so far.I don't understand the point of the nerf, it is bad enough we share the healers LB now we are getting nerfed, the class/job already doesn't do very much damage and I know for a fact is low to bottom of the DPS charts so why nerf us? I figured the 20% reduce from playing songs was bad enough but if we do even less damage then I won't want to play that class any more and I can see a lot of others wouldn't want to either. SE should just leave the class alone, we already suck enough DPS wise there is no need to make it worse for us.
They are the weakest dps however the way a lot of fights like titan work, can push them up a few spots. A bard should not be bottom dps in fights like titan, especially not when there is a dragoon in party that buffs their dmg by 10%. They should have a mid spot or higher in those fights and that is just not what SE intended when they balanced the class. Bards offer more than just pure dps while other classes offer only dps, thats why bard dps is supposed to be the lowest but it doesnt always work like that.
Because of that nerfing bards dps is the wrong way, it would crush them in tank and spank fights, where they are already pulling lowest dps. The smartest route is to make them affected by movement like other classes. If thats not happening bards will always be either too weak or too powerful, depending on the fight.
