Bard Nerfs Offically Confirmed

I don't understand the point of the nerf, it is bad enough we share the healers LB now we are getting nerfed, the class/job already doesn't do very much damage and I know for a fact is low to bottom of the DPS charts so why nerf us? I figured the 20% reduce from playing songs was bad enough but if we do even less damage then I won't want to play that class any more and I can see a lot of others wouldn't want to either. SE should just leave the class alone, we already suck enough DPS wise there is no need to make it worse for us.

If you are talking about fates/Low primordials you shouldn't call it a sucky DD as you have not seen much of its potential at LV25 anyway. I can tell you once you actualy become BRD you will get a noticeable boost in stats and you will see a difference, i'm not gonna say more as I am only LV36 for now, but I love it so far.

I have no Clue why you and the other person who doesn't seem to actually look at my character level are talking about, my Bard is 50 I have done all the content and I know for a fact their DPS is suck-tastic the only thing useful about them is their songs which make them do even Less damage. Everything I said about them is true and if my job was level 25 how would I even know? Honestly look at my level before saying I don't know what I am talking about.

Have you played a bard in coil or titan hm? Turn 2 is probably slightly harder for melee as far as positional work, but then again brds have to keep track of silences so it evens out.

One thing I would change, for you monk types, is I would make your silence just an off GCD ability, put it on a 30 second CD, and give it a 15 yalm range. Call it something like ninja star.

We DPS too hard, we get the aggro. There's the risk. Many times I steal the aggro unless I have a song going, just because of how hard I hit. It can be hell on the tank trying to steal the aggro from me, and if I get targeted, I can fold pretty fast depending on the enemy (because I THINK Bard has the lowest defense of DoW classes, but I'm not 100% sure). I think my record for getting KO'd by a non-boss enemy I grabbed the aggro from (no 1-hit KO abilities in here) was 10 seconds. That's with all my equipment up to par.

I agree that when I'm in a fight that if I start doing to much dps then I get argo

cool story guys...try using the the enemity reducing cd. Also the tanks that you ripped so much hate from all the time must have just sucked. I have a 50 brd with relic that great dps and I never saw a geared tank that's knows what their doing loose hate to a brd unless its at the beginning of a fight and they just blow all their cd's and get raped.

It's usually on cooldown. I pop it whenever I see I'm about to take the aggro from the tank, and only on the enemy mobs i don't want to take aggro from (and when the enemy is not near death. If it's near death, I'll take the aggro because it won't live that much longer). lol your only 47 running with gimp tanks hit 50 get geared and run some stuff with some geared tanks you won't be ripping agro off anyone.

Whiz happens all the time remember I'm working to end game. I'm not level 50. So gaining hate happens. And enemity reduction does not always work that well. If I was lvl 50 doing binding coil and that was my only concern then great, but working to end game this is a reality.
