Sorry to intrude, but how does how I choose to play and develop my character in any way ruin your gaming experience?

Also, I am sure in the early days of FFXI the first RDM/DRK or WHM/SMN might have been considered "gimped". However they, and many other non-intuitive job combination have proven to be very effective in many aspects of both party and solo gameplay.

We ask that we keep the same freedom of experimentation that we had in FFXI in FFXIV. Taking that freedom of experimentation away would be somewhat of a step backwards in many players opinion.

Sorry, if you come to a party with the wrong job combination, horrible gear, none of the necessary spells and no idea how to play your job, you're ruining my gaming experience. Example: PLD with a lance lol..

That is totally OK. However the case, extending your philoshophy of what is gimp and what isn't gimp outside your party across all of Eorzea, and having game code enforce that philosophy is ... somewhat harsh.
