That's tantamount to walking into a packed bar preaching about alcoholism, you will get your ass kicked. And while yes, addictions can be very serious issues, they are enormously varied by person. What affects someone will not affect everyone, and most people don't like to be told how to live their own lives especially if they feel they have a responsible level of moderation on their actions, which in reality most people do. People don't play games to be preached down to, or to argue the merits or science behind addiction.
