Warning to all those who play this game for story.

Been hesitant to do the second 8-person instance for the story for about 3 days now, not only do tanks get harassed for seemingly anything we do, but I know someone will complain that I'm watching my cutscenes.

Let those who play for the story actually get to enjoy it, you only get your first experience once and I'll be damned if I ruin it for someone that can't wait a few moments.

Lol your a tank you control the power in the group you pretty much get instant pops and if they leave they will be the ones waiting a LOOONG time for the next dungeons. When I do the final two dungeons and finish the story I will watch every scene and if they tell me to skip I won't care I would tell them to deal with it.

Nope. You get ONE chance to watch some of these scenes. I don't care if there are 7 others waiting on me. Most likely those 7 people did get to watch it when they ran it. But now since they already saw it themselves they want to rush me. Not happening.

Then make a group yourself, that way you're 100 % percent you won't be bothered by group members over it, and won't be a potential liability to your group.

Eh, what? I said the majority should rule. I remain neutral. If I absolutely want to speed run, without compromise I should make my own group, just like you should if you absolutely want to watch the cut scenes. Otherwise go with what the majority wants. Why is this so hard to grasp?

Jerks rushed to endgame as fast as possible and now want to give everyone else a hard time now that we are finally catching up after enjoying the story. Everything Im hearing about endgame is really offputting.

It doesn't go both ways and the majority doesn't rule here. Watching cutscenes and/or killing trash are the default way to run a dungeon. If you want to deviate for a speed run or whatnot, you should build a group for it yourself (or if there is a consensus in a DF group obviously its all good.)

Or SE could add something to block people from running into the boss during a cutscene, kind of like at the start of a dungeon.

These skippers should realise not everyone's completed the dungeon before and be aware of it.

There is no such thing as a default way to run a dungeon. As long as you're not breaking ToS anything is fair game. It doesn't say in the description when I choose to sign up that THIS IS THE WAY TO DO THE DUNGEON GUYS. It's an option like anything else. I still stand by what I said, the majority rules.

No, he has a point about Menubrea's comment (as bolded and underlined). If you absolutely want to play a certain way (bypass mobs, skip CSs, etc.) then make your own group.
