Warning to all those who play this game for story.

I loved the last mission, but the party I was with almost ruined-.. no, they pretty much did ruin it for me, and a few others.

Before fighting a boss, we entered a cutscene. Someone would skip and just run straight in, locking us out or forcing us to skip. Even then they managed to beat the bosses we were locked out from, and I was really looking forward to seeing what they were like. Easy? Don't care, they looked fun.

I can understand if they skip because they've already seen it, but running in not giving us a chance to finish is just being an asshat.

no, you CAN'T watch them all in fact
this very assumption is very wrong, because it came from the ones who actually skip scenes and don't care about them
i'm one of the victim who is told to skip the cutscenes in the last story dungeon
they told me that i'll be able to watch them later at the inn
i agreed and skip all of them, from start 'till the end

then i went straight to the inn with all the hope to watch the awesome cutscenes that i missed
however, if found it that i can only watch the conclusion and ending scenes, right after we beat the last boss of the dungeon
not from the start of the dungeon which are very important scenes also
i was so DISGUSTED

yes i hit 50 in two weeks which maybe rather fast, but i enjoyed every moment of my story quest
i bought the game for the story, because it's a Final Fantasy game
not just some Korean MMOs which stories i don't care about

i had a summoner give multiple people a hard time by claiming "Keeping 7 people waiting while you watch a cs in a raid is rude" ...in duty finder...for the main story....

The OP is right, and people need to stop making the counterclaim otherwise. You CANNOT watch all of the cutscenes from the inn - most of them, sure, but definitely not all of them. I specifically checked after running Rock the Castrum and a very significant number of them were missing, making me very glad I ignored the people telling us to skip.

Redacted! Apparently the cutscenes are split up into both Main Scenario and Duty, which I didn't realize. That being said, if it's my first time through something, I'll be watching the cutscenes.

He gave you a hard time because it's true. If you're the only one wanting to watch the cut scenes, and you agreed to be put together with random people who may not agree with your way of playing the game, you should be reasonable to accept that and comply.

Watching cutscenes is playing the game as intended and should be the default way of running dungeons from the DF. Pressuring and harassing those players that want to see the story is bullshit, plain and simple.

Everything you said was wrong. i never once said i was watching the cs. Why should i accept and comply if im not in the wrong -AT ALL-. Using duty finder doesnt exist for you to bend to the will of the majority, its to make it easier on you to get stuff done if you cant pull together the correct amount of people.

Nope. You get ONE chance to watch some of these scenes. I don't care if there are 7 others waiting on me. Most likely those 7 people did get to watch it when they ran it. But now since they already saw it themselves they want to rush me. Not happening.

Play a tank or healer, if they give you a hard time. leave and let them lose more time than they would have if they just let you watch the cs, I'm a tank I'm willing to take my almost instant ques to find a group that will let me watch it.
