Nonsense. The economy ran for quite some time in 1.0 without "total collapse" as you put it. Man-up and start crafting.

An alchemist can make a Book of Electrum. Everything you need to make it you can harvest. If you decide to vender it it sells for ~200 gil. Make 5 of those and you have 1k Gil. It is not that hard to make money. You just need to get motivated and do something about your problem of bein lazy. If you want Gil then start working for it.
You two seem to miss his point completely. He did not ask how to trade Gil from person to person.

Dungeon, FATE, etc. also generate Gil at high lv, but the repair fee already eat it up.

As the game currently stand, new Gil are being generated by new player with their quest, when all player hit the lv cap and less newbie join the game, no Gil will be generated and the economy system will collapse on itself.
