/doubt Login Failures

I'll agree that some are likely exaggerating in order to fully express their frustration, but I'm not going to blame people for feeling upset that they can't come home from work or school and have a relaxing evening on the game without first enduring the 1017 gauntlet. If you're tired and grumpy, have a family to spend time with or schoolwork to do, maybe an early day at work, who wants to spend time spamming the login buttons?

I understand that, and agree. I myself have gotten upset and when I finally do get in-game, I let loose the juice and a string of profanities in my FC/LS chats. People are perfectly entitled to being upset on this issue. What I don't like seeing is the persistent complaints of being unable to login to the game after hours on end of attempting to log in. People who are tired, grumpy, have family etc. wouldn't typically attempt to login to the game after being faced with these errors. It's those who apparently do continue to attempt to login but see no results and then form a complaint which erks me, because it is next to impossible.

Logic: I got in, therefore everyone complaining about not being able to get in are wrong.

Logic: If I get the same errors as you, as everyone, and yet be able to log in after persistent attempts, then perhaps you are not being persistent enough and being an attention-seeker.

Perhaps you are lucky and perhaps they are exaggerating but I do know that yesterday was my first time experiencing this happened so not so upset over it and I did indeed losing 7-8hrs between unable to update the server lists for a majority of the time with the occasional 30-45min of spamming X to get 1017 and then the 2 or 3 times where it 1017 booted me out of queue but I did not do 8hrs straight was more 3hrs here 2hrs there 3 hrs later in the evening because sitting staring at a screen that long just seems silly.

I must be one lucky son of a bitch to be able to get in constantly after being dced, peak hours times, moving classes and buildings, all from early launch to now. I'm sure Lady Luck can't favour me that much.

I myself recently experienced the 90k boot out of the server due to instances. Typically, I also realised rebooting the game whenever the NA/EU servers don't appear over and over til they DO appear normally fixes the issue for me, so when they don't appear, I merely restart the client. However, I understand your pain and respect your views.

Ive tried an hour straight to log in numerous times spamming and it does not work for me. Just because your method works for you, does not mean it works for everyone.

My methods involve clicking Start, my service account, my character, OK and the occasionally Exit button. I'm sure it's not different from anyone elses.
