Agree, it might happen but i find it hard to believe that people have been spamming for 10 hours. 1-2 hours maybe, but 10 hours?

Like the OP i have been able to get in after several tries.

As we speak i got in after many tries, and that was only 10 mins, but there are steps i take before hand. First the start button didn't come up, so i reset the client. Then the character screen didn't load up at the normally speed, so i kept resetting till it did. Then Eu/na servers didn't come up, so i reset till it did. once all those problems where sorted i started trying to load the game. First try i got the error, but i didn't reset the client i just went from the main screen, tried again, got put in a que, then Boom i was in.

It could be i'm lucky, but that method always helps for me so i would say try it and see

I alt-tabbed yesterday afternoon and the client crashed. I still haven't been able to get back in due to 1017....I've been trying every other hour or so for about 10 minutes at a time. This is getting ridiculous.

Why should people have to sit clicking on a log in screen for 10 minutes (MINIMUM) to get into their game???

Or those hundreds of people who have no accounts and can't play at all due to bad account systems.

Games broken, needs fixing.

Try maybe an hour at a time, not ten minutes every hour. If you really wanted to get into the game, you would do it.

So what I'm getting from you is until the experiences people have been saying happen to you, you just won't believe it and say they aren't being persistent. What about the people who are genuinely trying non-stop for much longer periods of time than you? You just discount them and call them liars? You don't seem to get just because the longest time you waited was one hour to get in means that would be the longest anyone would have to, and I'm talking trying straight, not coming back every so often to try. People are in different servers it's not all the same exact situation as you.

Your topic point was you never had to wait long to get in if you keep trying persistently and the longest you would likely wait was an hour. Well there are plenty of people who have been trying longer than that.

Of course. Ten hours of constant pressing to get in sounds legit. o_O I'm starting to think you're not reading any of my posts properly.

I doubt people genuinely will be pressing the login button continuously over a period of more than two-three hours at a time. Anyone who does will have superhuman attention spans, so yes, anyone who claims as such, I am calling them a liar, or you should see a doctor and realign your priorities. The longest I waited was an hour and a half, with breaks in between to read forums, do some homework, feed my dog, do some toilet business. Are you trying to suggest to me that people who have continuously, straight zerged the login button for more than two hours, cannot get in? When everyone is in the same boat, and yet people can log in when the floodgates are lifted for that short amount of time, but they somehow 'always' miss out?

I have characters on Hyperion and Excalibur and Ultros, so I would think I know about 'different' servers. If you also want to argue differences, I'm also registering a constant 250+ ms ping to NA servers from my side of the world, so during peak times in that data center, I have a small disadvantage in acquiring a faster connection. I'm quite aware of all the differences people have.

I like you Whoopeeragon. It is true, you can get in if you spam enough. Truthfully if it's the NA/EU unable to obtain list, then it's always longer. Everyone needs to detach from this a little bit, get perspective, it is only a game. I share the frustration but SE have insinuated a compensation offer and the rest is under the bridge (as in your small print)
