Why hasn't this been resolved yet? Better yet, why have we not heard a single word about a possible resolution to his problem that seems to be affecting so many players? I get that they "opened a flow", but what the hell does that do for us who are locked out of the game? I'm sorry I have lecture all week and can't sit on the phone during their workday for 3+ hours to get in contact with someone. I'm not sure I should have to.
I had to go through some weird hoops to register my game through the PS3 client. I did so in exactly the same manner as I did when registering my EA code to my beta account. And yet this time it makes a second service account and now I'm screwed for the weekend? Or the next two weeks, if the e-mail I received yesterday is any indication? Why hasn't there been an official post about a timetable or some kind of framework for how this is going to be fixed? I don't normally like posting on forums but I sat by and hoped that it wouldn't take longer than a work week to fix what seems like a pretty simple problem. Why even have the chat lines in the first place? Just fix every problem as they come in and stop wasting time talking on the phone or getting "escalated tickets" first before fixing the damn account. Seriously, wake up, Square Enix. You make awesome products that people obviously want. We literally can't wait to throw our money at you but that doesn't mean you should take us for granted like this and treat us with so little respect.
If you've read this far, thank you and I apologize for the silly rant. I actually did the live chat queue thing as soon as classes were over for the day and got the "No agent available" thing and just won't subject myself to that again.
I just want to add to the group that my issue has been resolved.
Additional information:
-30 day has been reset for me.
-I still have two service accounts with the C-E on both (which was not what I intended, maybe they'll get rid of my second one when time comes)
